Polish Technology Bridges

The aim of the project is to support the promotion and internationalization of enterprises that have an innovative product, service or technology on selected foreign markets outside the EU, using various e-commerce models, which will result in an increase in the share of exports of Polish entrepreneurs, through establishing new contacts, signing contracts with foreign contractors and direct sales of products, services or technology on the selected target market. As part of the action, support will be provided to entrepreneurs from the micro, small and medium-sized enterprises sector, with high technological and innovative potential, who have a high potential for internationalization of activities, the potential to develop innovative products, services or technologies, falling within the indicated areas specified in the National Smart Specializations, and who are interested in acquiring new opportunities for development on foreign markets outside the European Union. The offered service/product/technology being the subject of the strategy is to be innovative and have unique features primarily on the target market. The Polish Technological Bridges project is a continuation of the project implemented under the same name by PAIH S.A. in 2018-2023. The project aims to continue the main tasks, i.e. support in the form of specialized services / advice for companies from the SME sector in the preparation of strategies for entering selected foreign markets, as well as assistance in its implementation, among others by enabling participation in foreign events, missions or conferences. According to the assumptions of the project, support will be offered both using the competences of experts of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH.S.A.) and Foreign Trade Offices as well as in cooperation with experienced external experts specializing in building expansion strategies on selected target markets. As part of the Polish Technological Bridges project, PAIH S.A. will organize closed calls for selected foreign markets outside the EU. The analysis of markets carried out by PAIH and ZBH, based on statistical data, current data on prospective export directions as well as on the experience and knowledge from the implementation of the previous project, allowed to identify a total of 12 target markets in Asia, Africa, North America, South America and Europe. The analysis of key industries in relation to each of these selected markets was carried out by employees of foreign PAIH sales offices (ZBH), so it was based on the practical knowledge and experience of experts directly operating on a given market. For each market, the industries that have the greatest chance of entering a given local market are indicated. Annually, up to 4 calls are planned and each call for max. for 4 markets and indicated industries. According to the adopted assumptions, calls will be repeated periodically, every year to the same markets, thanks to which entrepreneurs will know the schedule of calls well in advance, which in turn will allow better preparation for the project and other activities carried out in parallel in the company. Additional information on the description of the project is provided in the Annex to the proposal under point 1. At the same time, also as an annex to the application in point 11, the Applicant attaches the Individual Interpretation together with the justification, confirmed by the Director of the National Tax Information, regarding the impossibility of recovering Vat under the PMT project, dated 16 November 2023.
