The aim of the project is to ensure the effective management and implementation of FENG-funded activities: 2.1 International Research Agendas, 2.2 First TEAM, 2.3 TEAM-NET, 2.7 Proof of Concept through the FENG Technical Assistance project under Measure 4.1 FENG and the final settlement of projects financed under the OP Smart Growth, through: I. Support for the Programme implementation system, which will include (1) conducting the selection and evaluation of applications, (2) signing contracts with beneficiaries and ensuring the financing of projects, (3) monitoring and control of project implementation, including financial verification of payment claims, (4) evaluation. It will be possible to carry out these activities by: a) proper management of human resources (financing the employment costs of IB staff, maintaining the employment of well-qualified staff, improving staff competences through training). b) ensuring and maintaining office space and adequate equipping of workstations, c) providing support for the best experts in their fields, undertaking information activities, providing appropriate IT tools. d) ensuring an efficient system for verifying payment claims and financing beneficiaries and reducing the risk of irregularities and fraud, including effective monitoring and control, e) financing evaluation studies and publication of reports, f) supporting horizontal activities (equality, non-discrimination, accessibility, support for administrative culture), g) final clearance of projects financed by the OP Smart Growth and their monitoring during the durability period. II. Supporting the functioning of the FENG information and promotion system by: a) Communicating FENG measures. b) Raising public awareness of FENG activities and effects. c) Supporting beneficiaries through training, webinars, educational activities and encouraging the use of green solutions in public procurement. III. Supporting the potential of beneficiaries, final recipients and potential beneficiaries by: a) Strengthening the beneficiaries' competences to implement projects, introducing systems for handling grant agreements, using simplified settlement costs. b) Activities supporting relations, cooperation, knowledge exchange, establishing business contacts, monitoring the development path of participants in innovative programmes.
