The investment consists in the modernization of the Parkuj i R Połczyńska car park in order to maximize permeable areas with the creation of retention systems in the urban area enabling the reuse of accumulated rainwater and meltwater. The main goal of the project is to increase the ecological dimension of the P+R car park infrastructure and its surroundings for the purposes of adapting the infrastructure of the capital city of Warsaw to climate change. The specific objectives of the project are: • improving the hydrological conditions in the parking lot, • increasing the use of rainwater, • increasing the biodiversity of green areas and increasing their attractiveness, • increasing public awareness of ecological solutions for public transport infrastructure. The planned project includes: 1. Construction works for the sealing of the concrete coating of parking spaces and footpaths, 2. Replacement of part of the pedestrian paths with green areas, 3. Revitalization of green areas and new plantings with bio-retention basins, 4. Construction of 3 free-standing roofs with green roofs and PV panels for the purpose of supplying the pump of the retention system and the irrigation system of green roofs, 5. Construction of an open retention reservoir (reservoir No. 1) with an underground part (reservoir No. 2) of a recreational nature with a footbridge and a bridge, 6. Construction of a sealed underground retention reservoir (reservoir No. 3) along with reconstruction of the sanitary installation and construction of an installation irrigating green areas and green roofs, 7. Works in the field of electrical, teletechnical and industrial/control automation in the scope of the retention system in the area covered by the investment, 8. Purchase and installation of a photovoltaic installation for the purpose of powering the retention system, 9. Works in the field of construction of energy-efficient land lighting and small architecture, 10. Works related to the operation of the retention system related to the reconstruction of the building of the technical hinterland of the P+R Parking lot, i.e. reconstruction of the structure of the hinterland building under the green roof, construction of the green roof, building installation for irrigation of the green roof, electrical installation for irrigation of the green roof, telecommunication installation related to water retention (control of the retention system), 11. Author's supervision for investments, 12. Investor supervision, 13. Information and promotion activities (including information boards, information on the website and on social media), 14. Educational activities in the field of adaptation to climate change (meetings with residents, information paths in the modernised car park), 15. Development of project documentation and feasibility study of the project, 16. Indirect costs, including project management. The applicant has full design documentation and a valid building permit for this investment. The project is complementary to other projects implemented outside Poland in the EU, candidate and associated countries. The project uses the technology of natural bathing ponds - developed and developed in Germany. In the implementation of the EKO P+R Połczyńska project, the effects of other projects will also be used. In Poland, this type of water reservoir has been built for nearly 10 years. In the technology of bathing joints can be mentioned, among others. Golian ponds (2012) in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, and more recently in Warsaw - the water system of the pond and retention reservoirs - in the Mokotów Field, or the reservoir in the Roman Kozłowski Park in Ursynów.
