The aim of the project is to improve the system of separate collection of municipal waste in the ZMiGDP. The project will be implemented in 9 municipalities of Zachodniopomorskie Province: Gmina Białogard, Gmina Karlino, Gmina Dygowo, Gmina Gościno, Gmina Grzminicza, Gmina Szczecinek, Gmina Tychowo, Gmina Sławoborze, Gmina Biały Bór. The scope of the project includes the following tasks: 1. Construction of a Selective Municipal Waste Collection Point in the Municipality of Białogard (design-build investment) 2. Expansion of the Selective Municipal Waste Collection Point in Dygowo with retrofitting (design-build investment) 3. Expansion of the Selective Municipal Waste Collection Point in Gościno with equipment 4. Expansion of the system of separate collection of municipal waste through the purchase of additional PSZOK equipment in the area of the Commune of Thunder 5. Expansion of the Selective Municipal Waste Collection Point in Karlino with retrofitting (design-build investment) 6. Expansion of the Selective Municipal Waste Collection Point in Sławoborze with retrofitting (design-build investment) 7. Expansion of the system of separate collection of municipal waste through the purchase of additional containers and containers in the Municipality of Szczecinek 8. Expansion of the system of separate collection of municipal waste through the purchase of additional containers in the Tychowo 9 Commune. The main objective of the project is to create optimal conditions for the separate collection of municipal waste, its storage in an environmentally safe manner and, ultimately, its management in a manner consistent with binding regulations. The project will be implemented in a Project Partnership consisting of the Union of Cities and Municipalities of the Parsęty River Basin (ZMiGDP) – Leader and the Municipality of Białogard, the Municipality of Karlino, the Municipality of Dygowo, the Municipality of Gościno, the Municipality of Grzminicza, the Municipality of Szczecinek, the Municipality of Tychowo, the Municipality of Sławoborze, the Municipality of Biały Bór.– Partners. Under the signed agreements, the Partners were authorized to incur eligible expenses. The implementation of the project will be based mainly on the human resources of the ZMiGDP Office. Resolution No 27/23 of the Management Board of the Union of Municipalities and Communes of the Parsęta River Basin of 15 December 2023 on the organisational rules of the Union Office within the framework of the Department for Regional Policy of the Union of Municipalities and Communes of the Parsęta River Basin of 15 December 2023. The Environmental Protection, Investment and Public Procurement Unit has been separated from the Project Implementation Unit. The JRP shall be composed of: Plenipotentiary for Foreigners Project implementation (MAO - Measure Authorising Officer), position for public procurement, position for investment and settlements. Throughout the implementation of the project, investor supervision will be exercised over the correctness of the construction works carried out. In addition to the obligatory information and promotion activities, educational and promotion activities were planned for the inhabitants of the town covered by the project: -press articles, -competition for the slogan regarding waste segregation, which will be placed on T-shirts and waste containers purchased as part of promotional activities. The competition will be announced in primary schools (2 age categories) and secondary schools (1 age category), - educational and promotional materials: Graphic design of the project logo, purchase of small bottle and can crushers for schools and other public institutions, T-shirts for participants of educational workshops for children and youth with slogans promoting segregation, roll-up performance, - educational workshops for children and youth - Workshops for preschoolers (1h), 2-day workshops for children and school youth (min. visit to the PSZOK area)
