Modernization and expansion of the heating network in PEC Lubartów

The aim of the project is to improve energy efficiency in Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej in Lubartów by building (in order to connect new customers) and modernizing the district heating network in the municipality of Lubartów. On the other hand, the higher level goal is to improve the state of the environment by reducing emissions of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, including primarily carbon dioxide. The objective of the project is in line with the objectives of Priority FENX.02 Support for the energy and environment sectors from the ERDF, Measure FENX.02.01 District heating infrastructure. The compatibility of the objective of the project with the objective of the Action results primarily from the scope of the investment (construction and modernisation of the district heating network) and the results planned to be achieved. The implementation of the project will allow to connect more individual customers to the municipal heating network, as well as to reduce heat losses caused by the high failure rate of existing heat hubs. Thanks to the implementation of the investment, the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere will be reduced, including, above all, such an unfavorable in excess of carbon dioxide, sulphur or dust from low emissions. In addition, as a result of the implementation of the project, primary energy consumption will decrease compared to the current state. Reducing greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere will have a positive effect on the environment, thus contributing to the sustainable development of the economy. The project includes several tasks, which can be divided into three groups in terms of subject: - Group I: construction of new sections of the district heating network for newly built buildings, includes two tasks - group II: modernization of the existing district heating network, includes 13 tasks - group III: decommissioning the group node and replacing it with new compact nodes, includes 1 task The effects of the project will be: •reduce emissions of pollutants into the air from other heat-producing sources •reduce the consumption of non-renewable raw materials (fossil fuels) for heat production by improving the efficiency of existing installations - construction projects were developed for part of the tasks, - an energy audit was carried out, - a feasibility study was prepared.
