The aim of the project consisting in the modernisation of the EDISON NEXT Poland Sp. z o.o. heating network in Rzeszów is to improve the efficiency of heat distribution and improve air quality. The implementation of the project will contribute to reducing heat losses on transmission, reducing the amount of fuel used, and thus reducing emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere (CO2, NOx, SO2, dust, including PM10). In terms of substance, the project includes: - modernisation of the district heating network with a length of 830 m, - modernisation of individual heat hubs - 3 units The project also provides for: - carrying out an educational campaign, - carrying out information and promotion activities of the project. In addition, the costs of the project include: - Indirect costs for investment measures - 7% - Indirect costs for education measures - 7% Description of the scope of the above-mentioned measures The tasks are set out in detail in paragraphs 6.2 and 6.3. ‘Description of the basic facilities and facilities, including the scope of activities undertaken in the framework of the project’ and 8.4. ‘Project timetable and payment plan’. ACTIVITIES PLANNED IN THE FRAMEWORK OF PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION The project will be implemented under 5 tasks: 1 Modernisation of the district heating network 2 Modernisation of individual heat nodes 3 Education campaign 4 Promotion of the project 5 Indirect costs I. Preparatory phase: a) preparation of design documentation for planned construction and installation works, for the purpose of obtaining the required administrative decisions, b) preparation of tender documentation for contracts for the modernisation of networks and nodes, c) notification of the intention to carry out construction works. II. Implementation phase: a) carrying out appropriate procedures for selecting contractors and concluding a contract with selected entities, b) carrying out works, c) receiving works, obtaining a usage permit. III. Stage of operation. The planned activities will follow the guidelines set out in Articles 46 to 50 of Regulation 2021/1060 and its Annex IX - Communication and Visibility. Among them, the following forms of action are envisaged: - information board - it is planned to place 1 piece of information board - in the Edison CHP plant in Rzeszów, in a public place, at the entrance gate to the industrial campus, - information on the Applicant's website about the Project. In addition, the applicant shall make a visible mark with the European Funds mark, the colours of the Republic of Poland and the European Union mark: a) all information and promotion activities concerning the Project, b) all documents and materials made available to the public, c) all documents and materials for persons and entities participating in the Project, d) all products, equipment, vehicles, apparatus, etc., created or purchased from the Project, by affixing permanent markings in the form of permanent stickers. The applicant has not yet started the project, including no contract for the implementation of the works included in the material scope of the project. The planned investment does not require any decisions and permits, including a building permit and an EIA. All construction works will be carried out as part of the notifications of construction works.
