The project provides for: (1) construction of the 400 kV Piła Krzewina - Plewiska line - a line built in a temporary arrangement and put into operation, only the final acceptance of the contract remained; (2) extension of the Plewiska station – Stage I co-financed under the OPIE 2014-2020 (3) extension of the Piła Krzewina station (220/110 kV) by a 400 kV switchgear – extension implemented and co-financed under the OPIE 2014-2020. The subject of this application is the second phase of the Project "Construction of the Piła Krzewina - Plewiska line with the extension of the station in this line", Project No POIS.07.01.00-00-0017/17-00 co-financed by the OPIE 2014-2020. As part of the first phase of the Project, the total net value of PLN 356 879 929.30; PHASE II (covered by this proposal) – PLN 38 853 321.40. Under this proposal, the main scope of the Project will be related to the further expansion of the Plewiska station, i.e. to the extent that it has not been completed and co-financed under the 2014-2020 perspective, as well as settlement of the final acceptance of the Contract for the construction of the Piła Krzewina - Plewiska line. A detailed description of the division of tasks carried out under PHASE I and planned to be carried out under PHASE II can be found in chapter 3.2.3 of the SW. The implementation of the Project is aimed at improving the conditions of power supply and security of energy supply in the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship. The project also contributes to the reduction of transmission losses in the PPS, as the direct effect of its implementation will be an increase in transmission efficiency and, as a consequence, a reduction in electricity generation, proportional to the reduction of energy losses. Indirectly, the result will be the creation of conditions for the extraction of power from the planned RES sources. At the same time, investments are one of the elements that will allow large-scale use of smart functionalities (smart grid elements). Smart functionalities defined in the mandatory and ranking criteria relevant to measure 2.3 and phased projects of FEnIKS. Getting smart functionality: 1. Functionality of monitoring and visualization of load in real time, 2. Functionality of active and reactive power flow control (including control of distributed sources and reactive power compensators), 3. Functionality of automatic control of voltage level and reactive power level on the bus, 4. Functionality of current monitoring and assessment of the condition of devices. Obtaining smart functionality, in connection with the implemented project, is a desirable element. Its scope in one of more than one hundred transmission stations takes into account the long-term network development policy using the following functions: a) functionality of monitoring and visualization of load in real time, b) functionality of active and reactive power flow control (including control of distributed sources and compensator) c) functionality of automatic control of voltage level and reactive power level on the bus d) functionality of current monitoring and evaluation of the condition of devices 52 et seq. The implementation of the investments covered by this application, including the expansion of the Plewiska station, contributes to strengthening the National Transmission Network, increasing energy security and security of energy supply for final customers. The project entitled ‘Construction of the Piła Krzewina – Plewiska line with the extension of the station in this linear line’ will also allow, inter alia, for: • reducing transmission constraints in the PPS in order to enable the safe and reliable exchange of electricity, • improving the reliability of the operation of the entire PPS and the continuity of energy supply, in particular in the Wielkopolskie Voivodship, • improving the security of power supply in the Wielkopolskie Voivodship. • Efficient transmission of energy from generation sources located in Pomerania, Silesia and central Poland.
