The implementation of the Project results directly from the needs identified by the Applicant in the process of infrastructure operation. The project will result in the expansion of smart power grids, which will increase the possibility of connecting RES sources without reducing the parameters of the supplied energy. The subject of the Project is to improve the operation of the neutral point of the medium voltage network in 98 WN/SN power stations, in accordance with the applicable Enea Operator standards. All works will be carried out in existing power stations belonging to Enea Operator, covering only part of the equipment and elements included in the power facilities in question. Depending on the needs of individual stations (network areas), works are planned to vary in scope: a) Comprehensive modernization of station elements - grounding assemblies, consisting in the implementation of works involving the construction of a follow-on choke, a transformer for own needs, a sealed oil bowl, an oil separator, the replacement of primary and secondary circuits of the field. In connection with the scope of works, it will be required to prepare a construction project and obtain a building permit decision. (b) Partial modernization of station elements - grounding assemblies - the scope of works will be limited to the replacement of the choke and selected works listed in point (a), e.g. the construction of an oil bowl with a separator, etc. Depending on the type and scope of works, there may be a need to obtain a building permit decision. c) Modernization involving only the replacement of a resistor, which is an element of the station - grounding assemblies. The Company has the right to dispose of real estate on which WN/SN stations are located. The chokes should ensure correct compensation not only of the network operating in the normal system, but as far as possible in all other network operating states. Hence, chokes in the form of automatic and closely controlled devices have been selected, which significantly improve efficiency in extinguishing arc short-circuits, facilitate the implementation of protection against electric shock by limiting the short-circuit current with the ground and can have a beneficial effect on the working conditions of earth-short-circuit protection. The chokes that will be used in the project have a current range of up to 400 A, so as to take into account the future increase in network capacity resulting from the development of cable lines. The largest number of stations (62 units) will be covered by comprehensive modernization, 32 units will be partially modernized, and in 4 stations only the resistor will be replaced. At several stations, works will be carried out simultaneously in the field of choke and resistor construction. The project will be implemented in the entire area of the Company's operations, and therefore all of its Distribution Branches: Poznań, Szczecin, Zielona Góra, Gorzów Wlkp., Bydgoszcz. It will be implemented in the following provinces: Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Pomorskie, Dolnośląskie, Wielkopolskie, Lubuskie and Zachodniopomorskie.
