The subject of the project is the purchase of three rescue and firefighting vehicles for the needs of the Airport Rescue and Firefighting Service of Poznań-Ławica Airport Sp. z o.o. Airport firefighting vehicles are specially constructed vehicles for carrying out rescue and firefighting operations at airports, e.g. extinguishing fires: aircraft, buildings, equipment, flaming aviation fuel, enabling the evacuation of passengers, securing emergency landings of aircraft. The new vehicles will replace the existing worn-out vehicles. It is planned that the supply and incorporation of vehicles will take place in 2026-2027. The material implementation of the project will be ordered to the entity selected in the procedure carried out in accordance with the principle of competitiveness described in the Guidelines on the eligibility of expenditure for 2021-2027 (The procedure will be applied in accordance with the provisions of the Public Procurement Law Act of 11 September 2019, to which the applicant is subjectively obliged to apply). The scope of the project and technical solutions were determined based on the results of audits, assessment of operational suitability and availability of dedicated technical solutions on the market. The necessary tender documentation was prepared by the Applicant for tasks with a value representing 100% of the planned expenditure. The project implements the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, Environment 2021-2027 Specific Objective 3.1 Development of a climate-resilient, intelligent, safe, sustainable and intermodal TEN-T, with which, among other things, support for air transport within the TEN-T is envisaged. The implementation of the project meets the challenges identified in FEnIKS for the aviation sector, which are ensuring service standards in accordance with air traffic safety and security requirements. The project contributes to the objective of support to improve the safety of the airport in terms of prevention of aviation incidents, including the improvement of the operational safety or fire safety of the airport. The planned investment does not fit into the commercial, generating financial benefits, area of the airport's activity.
