The main objective of the project and the main objective of the FEnIKS programme is to improve transport safety by purchasing two rescue and firefighting vehicles for the Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport Firefighting and Rescue Service unit. Scope of the project: The project consists of two tasks – the first task is related to the procurement procedure and delivery of two rescue and firefighting vehicles, the second task concerns the project's promotion and information activities. A detailed description of the implementation of the individual tasks can be found in Part D of the proposal, in the description and justification of the task. The main assumption of the project is the purchase of two rescue and firefighting vehicles, which will contribute to achieving a number of benefits, including improving operational safety and increasing the level of fire protection at the airport. Thanks to the use of a modern engine that meets the requirements of the EURO 6 standard, the project will also increase energy efficiency by reducing the level of pollutant emissions into the atmosphere. The purchased vehicles will be intended for the implementation of tasks related to ensuring the safety of PL Rzeszów - Jasionka and residents of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. The cars will be used to carry out the tasks provided for the LSRG unit under the National Rescue and Firefighting System. The implementation of the project will contribute to the adaptation and modernisation of the infrastructure and the purchase of equipment to provide protection in the area of passenger and freight traffic services. (Type of project). The implementation of the project is in line with the assumptions and objectives of the FEnIKS programme and the Detailed Description of the Priorities of Action FENX.04.03. The project is part of an action concerning the purchase of equipment directly intended to improve the safety of an airport with regard to the prevention of aviation incidents, including the improvement of operational safety or fire protection of an airport (focus area). The safety of air operations will be significantly improved by ensuring higher quality and efficiency of rescue and firefighting operations at the airport. The requirements for operational readiness and frequency of rescue and firefighting vehicles for flight operations are described in the feasibility study. The purchased cars will be equipped with the latest currently available rescue and firefighting equipment. Cars are powered by 7% admixture of biofuels containing a biological component in the form of methyl fatty acids or hydrogenated vegetable oils. The applicant has prepared tender documentation and estimates the value of the coefficient to be well above 70%. The applicant will conclude a contract for tasks related to the implementation of the project in accordance with the Public Procurement Law, which will ensure compliance with the guidelines on the eligibility of expenditure under the FEnIKS programme EPRZ/SkrytkaESP The project will be implemented in the area of strategic intervention (SIA) indicated in the National Strategy for Regional Development 2030 (KSRR) - Eastern Poland
