The project involves the construction of enclosures. The Tri-City Metropolis along the S7 expressway with a length of 31.80 km (Design & Build realization mode) along with a section of national road No. 20 with a total length of approx. 6.27 km (connectors with GP road parameters from the Żukowo junction to the S7 interconnecting national roads No. 7 and 20 with the express route - the so-called Obw. It's Zhukov. The S7 expressway is located in the comprehensive TEN-T network. The investment is located in the northern part of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, in the city with the rights of the Gdańsk district and the Kartuski and Gdańsk districts, in the municipalities of Żukowo, Kolbudy, Pruszcz Gdański and Gdańsk. Scope of investment: on the planned section of the S7 expressway there is a two-day section with two lanes and an emergency lane. The designed section has a reserve for an additional lane – the reserve is located in the dividing lane. The planned road junctions will enable safe communication and distribution of traffic on the remaining road network and servicing the adjacent area through the access road network. The project consists of 2 implementation sections, which will be carried out under two contracts: - Episode 1 (task 1): ‘Construction of the Tri-City Metropolis Bypass. Activity 1: Chwaszczyno junction (without junction) – Żukowo junction (without junction)’ – section 2 (task 2): ‘Construction of the Tri-City Metropolis Bypass. Activity 2: Żukowo junction (with junction) – Gdańsk Południe junction (with junction)’ (with area It's Zhukov. It is necessary to implement engineering structures and road culverts, which are also passages for animals. Noise protection will be provided by acoustic screens. It is planned to build a rainwater drainage system along with the construction of rainwater sewerage and pumping station, drainage ditches and rainwater purification devices. It is planned to build lighting, rebuild the conflicting networks of land armament. The implementation of the Project will require the construction and reconstruction of road infrastructure elements: sidewalks, walking and cycling paths, bicycle paths, bus bays, exits, trips, emergency crossings and others. The whole plan will be complemented by road safety and organisation equipment including, in addition to energy-intensive barriers, vertical and horizontal markings. Objectives of the Project: - increasing mobility by creating a section of an express road route forming part of the trans-European TEN-T network corridor, ensuring high-speed long-distance road traffic comfort, improving the transport accessibility of Europe, Poland and interregional connections on the TEN-T network, - increasing accessibility to the trans-European TEN-T network corridor and improving the quality of internal communication links, - improving the efficiency of road transport and ensuring the free movement of people, goods, capital, services, affecting the growth of the EU's external competitiveness and internal economic, social and territorial cohesion, - adapting the technical and usage parameters of the road to the forecasted level of traffic, by eliminating "bottlenecks" and filling missing elements of road infrastructure, in a way that improves the capacity and traffic conditions in the transport corridor, - relieving congestion and improving the living conditions of residents of built-up areas adjacent to existing transport solutions, - improving transit traffic moving in the existing transport corridor and increasing the level of safety of users in order to maintain the interoperability of the transport infrastructure created, by adapting the road to the applicable legal provisions of the "S" class of roads - increasing mobility of passengers and goods.
