Works on railway line No 202 Gdynia Chylonia – Słupsk – Phase II

The project ‘Works on railway line No 202 on the Gdynia Chylonia – Słupsk – Phase II section’ is a continuation of works related to the modernisation/construction of railway lines on the Gdynia Chylonia – Słupsk section not included in Phase I of the project ‘Works on railway line No 202 on the Gdynia Chylonia – Słupsk section’, in particular: • continuation of works for the construction of sewage tracks Nos 207, 209 and 211 with adjacent switches and construction of the LCS Słupsk building and continuation of all works to complete the project • construction/extension of railway line No 202 (from km 81,150 to km 135,100, i.e. over a length of 53,950 km; • reconstruction of railway line 405 from km 171,329 to km 176,375, i.e. 5,046 km; • construction of 4 engineering structures; • modernisation of 29 engineering structures; • construction of 4 passenger stops; • modernization of 5 stations and 3 passenger stops; • construction/reconstruction of 24 platforms; • modernisation of 2 rail-road crossings; • reconstruction of electrical equipment (power, lighting, EOR, etc.), • reconstruction of the overhead contact line, • construction/reconstruction of lines of unattractive needs, • reconstruction of the network and electrical equipment nN, • construction of computerised traffic control devices; • adapting the technical parameters of the lines in contact with line 202 (including associated infrastructure) to the related infrastructure of line 202. As a result of the works covered by Phase I and Phase II: • 53,950 km of the 2-track line will be built/expanded • 5,046 km of the 1-track line will be rebuilt. The project will be implemented in the Build, Design and Build formula, by the Northern Region Investment Implementation Centre, in the Pomeranian Voivodeship. The above scope will be implemented within the framework of eight Tasks: 2) Works on the section Lębork - Słupsk - without the station Słupsk (Buduj); 3) Works at Słupsk station (Build); 5) Management and supervision of construction works on the section Lębork - Słupsk; 6) Management and supervision of construction works at the Słupsk station; 7) Author's supervision over construction works on the section Lębork - Słupsk (together with the station Słupsk); 8) Information and promotion activities. 9) Connection agreements; 10) Purchase of land. It is planned that after the implementation of the investment, the following elements and technical parameters of the line will be achieved: • maximum speed – passenger trains V=160 km/h (200 km/h on the section Lębork (excluding the station Lębork) – Kobylnica Słupska), freight trains V=120 km/h. • axle load 221 kN and 245 kN for new and upgraded engineering structures; The solutions adopted in the Project enable the implementation of the ERTMS system in the future. As a result of the implementation of the Project, the requirements for interoperability within the scope of the Infrastructure TSI, the Control-Command TSI and the Energy TSI will be met.
