Reconstruction of the communication system to improve the accessibility of residents of the entire voivodship to service centers in Opole

Implementation of investment task I. Reconstruction of intersections for the needs of two-way traffic for ul. Reymont and Kolłątaj. Accelerating the passage of buses through the city road system by introducing investment measures in traffic for bus transport in order to reduce the quality distance to individual transport and stop the process of marginalization of the use of public transport. The investment measure concerns the reconstruction of the transport system – the availability of public transport in this part of the city will significantly improve the introduction of two-way public transport on ul. H. Kołłątaja, W. Reymonta and the street connecting them. It's the Ozimsky. Execution of Investment Task II. Expansion of the intersection of Bohaterów Monte Casino and Plebiscytowa streets with Kośnego and Pilecki streets. Satisfying the needs of the inhabitants of Opole and the Opole voivodship, by ensuring efficient movement in the area of the newly created traffic generator, which is the Public Services Centre in Opole in the area of ul. Heroes of Monte Cassino, ul. Pilecki, ul. Kośny and ul. It's a plebiscite. In addition, the centralization of spatially dispersed departments of the Opole City Hall and the Tax Administration Chamber in Opole speaks in favour of launching public transport connections to the Public Services Center for its employees and clients of offices. Deepening the integration of various public transport systems, including at the Opole Główny junction, will be possible through the introduction of two-way public transport on ul. H. Kołłątaja, W. Reymonta and the street connecting them. It's the Ozimsky. Thanks to this solution, all public transport lines in this part of the city will be able to stop at stops 1 Maja - Dworzec Główny, located in the immediate vicinity of the bus station and near the railway station, measurably shortening the distance of transfers and legibility of the interchange. Thanks to safe bays for buses, the comfort of people using public transport as well as road use by car travelers will be increased. Pedestrian walkways, lanes and efficient traffic lights and route lighting are essential for safety and quality of use. The creation of efficient and safe paths for pedestrians and cyclists improves the comfort of users. All this ensures safety of movement day and night for drivers, pedestrians and cyclists. The city authorities are committed to improving the road and accompanying infrastructure, as this directly and indirectly affects many living factors of the inhabitants and allows the development of the city and the region. Residents need efficient road infrastructure to move around the city as part of commuting to work or other commercial places. The implementation of the project will improve the technical parameters of the road through reconstruction and extension of the road, improve road safety, significantly improve the functionality of the communication system and ensure the improvement of residents' lives. The stop bays and walking and cycling paths built as part of the project will provide convenient access to public transport, which will encourage its use and reduce the use of passenger cars. The project will contribute to improving the external accessibility of the City, which is important for the economic and social development of the entire voivodship and the functional area of the City of Opole. The implementation of the project will improve transport access to national economic centers, which will allow for a stronger involvement of Opole in the development processes of the country and, as a result, increase the level of competitiveness of the city.
