The main objective of the project is to increase energy savings and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by improving the energy efficiency of public utility facilities in the municipality of Dąbrowa Białostocka. Specific objectives: - increase in energy efficiency of public buildings, - increase in local production of energy from renewable sources, - decrease in heating costs and heat energy consumption in buildings covered by the Project, - improve air quality, - increase in the standard of living of residents in the region - increase in the competitiveness of the region, - improve the quality of life of residents by increasing the comfort of learning, - increase in the awareness of residents of the region in terms of energy efficiency and RES, - improve the image of the municipality as an entity caring for the environment, - increase in the attractiveness and competitiveness of the region. The objectives of the project include improving the energy efficiency of buildings, using solar energy through the installation of photovoltaic installations, educating the local community on energy efficiency and protecting against the effects of climate change through adaptation measures. They aim to create a more sustainable, ecological and energy-efficient environment in the municipality of Dąbrowa Białostocka. The scope of the project is comprehensive and includes a number of important activities in the municipality of Dąbrowa Białostocka. The project aims to introduce sustainable energy and education solutions that will contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of residents and the protection of the natural environment. - Thermomodernisation of public buildings: As part of the project, thermal modernization of four public facilities, i.e. 3 schools and a common room, will be carried out. This will make them more energy efficient, helping to reduce heating costs and heat consumption. - Installation of photovoltaic installations: The project also assumes the installation of photovoltaic installations on three thermomodernized facilities. This will allow solar energy to be used to produce electricity, which will contribute to increasing local renewable energy production. In addition, photovoltaic installations will contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, which will have a positive impact on the environment. - Educational activities: The project includes educational activities aimed at raising the awareness of residents and students in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources (RES). They aim to raise awareness among residents, especially young people, about energy efficiency and the benefits of renewable energy sources. This education is key to shaping green attitudes and promoting a sustainable lifestyle. - Adaptation measures: The project also includes innovative adaptation solutions to the changing climate. A green wall of ivy on the trek will support thermal insulation and improve the microclimate, while planting trees and installing bird stands will support local biodiversity. In addition, the rainwater tank will be used for efficient rainwater management, which is important in the context of growing awareness of the importance of water resources. As a result, the scope of the project provides for comprehensive actions aimed at increasing the energy efficiency of buildings, the use of renewable energy sources, education of the local community and adaptation to climate change. This project is an important step towards creating a more sustainable, ecological and energy-efficient environment in the municipality of Dąbrowa Białostocka.
