The main objective of the project is to: Solar energy storage in the Municipality of Michałowo is an increase in the efficiency and energy and thermal independence of RES residents of the Municipality of Michałowo, which will directly lead to an improvement in energy comfort, as well as an improvement in air quality by reducing the amount of pollution. The project assumes that by the end of December 2026, 68 energy storages (electricity storages and heat storages) will be installed for the residential needs of residents of the Michałowo Commune. The specific objectives of the Project are: • Increased share of distributed renewable energy production, • Scaling up the use of solar energy to meet the demand for electricity and heat in residential buildings in the Municipality, • Scaling up the use of solar energy to heat domestic water, • Reducing energy consumption from conventional sources, • Reducing greenhouse gas emissions and pollution by reducing the consumption of conventional electricity and heat sources, • Reducing environmental burden, • Reducing costs in terms of energy efficiency. As a result of the project, there will be an increase in energy efficiency, which is reflected in the indicators selected for monitoring: 1. Number of thermal energy storages created: 9.00 pcs. 2. Number of generated electricity storages: 59,00 pcs. 3. Electricity storage capacity: 0.449 MWh 4. Heat or cold storage capacity: 14.68 MWh 5. Electricity storage solutions: In order to protect the support for sustainable development of the Municipality of Michałowo and to emphasize the importance of the areas to be covered by the investment, factors have been identified, the importance of which is constantly increasing. The most important problems that affect the area covered by the Project include: - the state of the environment, - low level of environmental awareness, - meeting needs. In connection with the interest in the implementation of the project in the Municipality, preliminary surveys were carried out to determine the number of residents declaring their willingness to participate in the Project. From the data obtained, it appears that the implementation of the Project is as justified as possible. The implementation of the Project is desirable and necessary and will allow: increasing the share of energy from renewable sources in the overall energy consumption, reducing the demand for the use of energy from conventional sources, reducing maintenance costs, reducing dust and gases to the atmosphere, maintaining a favorable climate and the state of the natural environment, increasing awareness of the inhabitants of the Michałowo Commune by promoting clean energy. The project will be implemented in the period from 15.11.2024 to 13.05.2027. The total value of the Project is PLN 2,920,000.00 gross, of which the eligible costs are PLN 2,920,000.00 gross and the co-financing amount is PLN 2,482,000.00 gross.
