The overall objective of the project is to strengthen the operational, rescue and technical capabilities of the two Volunteer Fire Brigades in the municipality of Dąbrowa Białostocka by purchasing the necessary equipment and conducting trainings, which will contribute to increasing the safety of the local community and the effectiveness of rescue operations. The objectives of the project include: 1. Improving operational and rescue capabilities: The project aims to improve the operational and rescue capabilities of both TSOs by purchasing new equipment such as a thermal imaging drone, hovercraft, power generator, telehandler. This will enable firefighters to act more effectively and efficiently in crisis situations. 2. Ensuring energy independence: The purchase of a power generator is intended to ensure energy independence and support for TSO rescue and firefighting operations. The generator set is intended to serve as a reliable source of electricity, enabling the supply of various devices, tools and medical devices used in emergency and crisis situations. 3. Increased competence of firefighters: Specialized training, covering areas such as altitude rescue, rescue in water areas, ice rescue and rescue from search and rescue activities, is aimed at increasing the level of competence of firefighters. This will contribute to a more professional and safe operation in emergency situations. 4. Minimising material losses and improving safety: Improving the operational capacity of both TSOs will contribute to minimising material losses and increase the security of the local community. Scope of the project for TSO Olsza: - Purchase of a drone with equipment (thermal imaging camera, drone battery, drop system) and training culminating in an exam giving the right to control the drone; - Purchase of hovercraft with equipment (light and sound signalling, night searcher, railing fittings, winter cabin, radio station, bottom fitting for activities in difficult terrain, echosounder with GPS, motopompa, Motopompa, pressure hose); - Purchase of a power generator; - Purchase of a trailer for transporting a hovercraft and a chassis for transporting a power generator; - Additional equipment (clothes, rescue kit, suit, extinguishing hoses); - Training for TSO Olsza: *Training from high-altitude rescue implemented by the CRSG in the basic field, *Training from rescue in water areas implemented by the CRSG in the basic field, *Training from ice rescue implemented by the CRSG in the basic field. Scope of the project for TSO Reszkowce: - Purchase of telehandler with equipment (hydraulic adjustable working platform, bucket-crocodile, CNBOP certificate); - Training for TSO Reszkowce: *Training on high-altitude rescue carried out by the CRSG in the basic field, *Training on search and rescue activities carried out by the CRSG in the basic field. The need to implement the project and purchase the planned equipment was confirmed by the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Sokółka. KPPSP in Sokółka informs that the specialized equipment planned to be purchased by the TSO Olsza and Reszkowce, including engineering machines, unmanned aerial vehicles, trailers, hovercraft, is necessary to support the activities carried out in individual areas of specialist rescue currently implemented by individual TSOs at the basic level. Taking into account the existing threat in the area protected by the TSO, retrofitting with the above-mentioned equipment will allow to extend for these TSO units the currently applicable network plan of specialist rescue units of the TSO of the Sokólskie district at the basic level by another type of rescue.
