The regulations will be prepared by the executor (Poviat Family Assistance Center in Sokółka) containing the criteria for the selection of Grantees. Agreements will be signed specifying the scope of the implemented grant. The District Centre for Family Assistance in Sokółka (PCPR), which is responsible for implementing programmes for the elimination of architectural barriers financed by PFRON, conducted preliminary surveys in order to adopt grant assumptions. They show that all respondents need the support offered in these Project Selection Regulations. The identification of the need to eliminate architectural barriers was carried out in February 2024 in paper form. 30 people benefiting from PCPR assistance in Sokółka took part. Everyone pointed out the need for this type of action. The scope of works necessary to eliminate architectural barriers and the approximate cost of each barrier were also indicated. Including 12 people, in addition to infrastructural activities, also indicated the need to purchase specialized equipment. The analysis of the surveys indicated the need for actions related to the removal of architectural barriers, including the purchase of the necessary equipment. The costs are indicated in the financial statement. The project will comply with the specific conditions for the grant project described on p. 10 and 11 of the Rules for the Selection of Projects. A detailed description can be found in the Feasibility Study. The purpose of the project is to implement an investment aimed at providing support tailored to the individual needs of individuals and providing barrier-free communication and architectural spaces in the daily functioning of these individuals. Through the implementation of the project, investments will be implemented to improve accessibility, in particular for people in need of support in everyday functioning (including people with disabilities, the chronically ill and the elderly). The implemented project will not in any way contribute to the spatial segregation of marginalized groups - it will not lead to group closure or remoteness from the local community. This project, thanks to the removal of architectural barriers, will help people with disabilities or in need of support in everyday functioning to overcome isolation from the community.
