The main objective of the project is to support 800 employees and unemployed people from the Podlaskie Voivodeship in maintaining employment and returning to the labour market by covering them with medical rehabilitation related to diseases of the musculoskeletal system until the end of 2027. The main result of the project will be the number of 500 people who, thanks to the support received in the area of health, took up work or continued employment. The target group will be those who are at risk of leaving the labour market due to health factors and/or who are registered as unemployed and need rehabilitation services in order to take up or return to employment. The target group of the project will be unemployed and working people living within the meaning of the provisions of the Civil Code of Podlaskie Voivodeship. The activities of this project are addressed to people who have diseases of the skeletal and muscular system - support in accordance with the map of health needs for the Podlaskie Voivodeship. According to statistical data, the number of primary care benefits for musculoskeletal disorders in Podlaskie Province in 2022 accounted for 9.4% of all benefits. It was also the first reason for advice provided as part of specialist outpatient care. Direct support will be provided to 800 people (560K/240M). The number was selected on the basis of statistical data from maps of health needs of the Podlaskie Voivodeship in the field of medical rehabilitation related to musculoskeletal disorders. The project provides comprehensive support in the form of prevention of workplace-related diseases (physioprophylaxis and psychoeducation), rehabilitation enabling the maintenance of work capacity or obtaining employment (rehabilitation returns) and professional activation (individual coaching classes). The project provides for a total of four tasks. The actions were designed in response to the diagnosis of the needs of the target group carried out before the application was submitted, based on data and information concerning the area of support. The tasks of the project were divided due to the support provided (prophylaxis, rehabilitation, professional activation). The project activities are implemented outside the formula of the Regional Health Policy Programme of the Podlaskie Voivodeship. Task 1. Activities in the field of physioprophylaxis and psychoeducation of project participants with musculoskeletal disorders The task will support 800 project participants who have musculoskeletal disorders. Support will be provided in groups of 10 people. As part of the physioprophylaxis of workplace-related diseases, participants will receive useful information on the reduction of risk factors for musculoskeletal diseases, the benefits of daily physical activity. Psychoeducation of participants will focus on the psychosomatic relationships between mental tension and the physiological response of the body. Task 2. Activities in the field of medical rehabilitation of project participants with musculoskeletal disorders Rehabilitation will be covered by 800 project participants. As part of Task 2, each participant will take part in 2 physiotherapeutic consultations – before and after the camp. Each participant will have 10 days of rehabilitation (5 treatments every day). Task 3. Activities in the field of professional activation of project participants with musculoskeletal disorders Professional activation is provided as individual coaching. Each participant of the project will hold an hour-long meeting with a coach, during which topics related to stress at work, burnout, methods of dealing with problematic situations in the workplace and relations between employees will be discussed.
