The project entitled The Podlasie programme of scholarship support for pupils of schools and educational institutions providing general education is part of the conditions of the FEPD programme for 2021-2027 and prior to the priority, Priority VIII – Funds for education and social inclusion, Measure 8.1. Development of education and training. The project is a response to the objective of the intervention, which is: “Promote equal access to and completion of quality, inclusive education and training, in particular for disadvantaged groups, from early childhood education and care through general and vocational education and training, to tertiary education, as well as adult education and learning, including facilitating learning mobility for all and accessibility for persons with disabilities”. In addition, the project is in line with the provision of the General Regulation of the EP and the Council (EU) 2021/1060 of 24 June 2021 – included in the draft will affect the creation of equal educational opportunities for pupils/students educated in the Podlaskie Voivodship. The project takes into account the specifics of the Podl. and the trends of the demographer in this area and refers to deficits and needs. The main goal of the project is to create equal educational opportunities for at least 3,978 talented, disadvantaged students, including students from families with low social status. - economists living in areas at risk of permanent marginalisation or rural exclusion and pupils with disabilities studying in general education schools in the Podlasie region between December 2023 and December 2027. Target groups: The project is a four-year scholarship project addressed to pupils/gifts from disadvantaged social groups, including pupils from families with low social status, pupils to schools conducting general education, i.e. students in schools implementing the general education program of primary school and general secondary school from the area of Podlaskie Voivodeship. The project will be a real way to obtain scholarships for pupils/students of general schools from the whole Podlaskie Voivodship. The selection of talented students will take into account: - educational achievements. in accordance with the intra-school system of assessing potential scholarships. in school subjects for the year preceding the year of awarding the scholarship. - achievements in olympiads, competitions at at least provincial level at the level of participation in third-degree competitions in the school year preceding the year of awarding the scholarship. The project provides for 4 editions of the call for applications for scholarships. Each edition includes a closed school year, i.e.: 2022/2023, 2023/2024, 2024/2025, 2025/2026 A student fulfilling the selection criteria in detail in each case, as set out in the ‘Terms and Conditions for Granting Scholarships’, will receive financial assistance.
