Main objective of the project: Improving practical skills and professional competences and gaining experience by 150 students (100 women and 50 men) of the Educentrum of the Police Medical School in Białystok through participation in professional internships with employers from the regional labour market in the period up to 30.11.2026. The project will achieve the following results: • Number of students who acquired qualifications after leaving the program - 135 • Number of people who obtained qualifications after leaving the program - 135 The target group of the project will be 150 students (100 women and 50 men) of the Educentrum of the Police Medical School in Białystok from the faculties of Massage Technician, Medical Caretaker, Occupational Therapist, Dental Hygienist, Pharmaceutical Technician. The target group is identical to the one mentioned in the CPR. As part of the project, the following tasks are planned: 1. Organisation of work placements 2. The project assumes participation in professional internships of 100% of the students supported in the project. The activities planned in the project are a response to the diagnosed problems and identified individual needs of the School and its students, as well as employers who, due to their industry, remain in the circle of interest of the School (Centre for Specialist Rehabilitation, OsteoKlinik Krzysztof Mietełka, DPS in B-stok, "We for Others" Association, Fors-Itis Foundation, Podlasie Psychogeriatry Center, 100matologist, Fixyourself Bortosz Kuc, Dental Studio Dental Center, VITTAMED Medical Center, Pharmacy near Gryfem, ArsDent Dental Clinic) resulting from the DIAGNOSIS of the Police Medical School Educentrum (the diagnosis was carried out by the School and approved by the leading body). The conclusions of the diagnosis are presented in the section entitled ‘Diagnosed problem(s)’. Traineeships under the project will be carried out in accordance with the quality standards defined in the Council Recommendation of 15 March 2018 on a European Framework for Quality and Effective Apprenticeships (Dz. Ooh, ooh, ooh. EU C 153, 02.05.2018, p. 1) – part on ‘Criteria for learning and working conditions’. Approximately 110 people (approx. 73% UP) will be organized with employers whose activity fits into the smart specializations of the Podlaskie Voivodeship belonging to the Specialization Core "Innovations in areas where the province already has above-average potential" i.e. 1.3 Medical, life sciences and value chain related sectors (...): silver economy (medical care); rehabilitation (massage technician), in the scope of the system of services and goods aimed at exploiting the purchasing potential of elderly people and meeting their needs. Each stage of the project implementation will be carried out in accordance with the principle of equal opportunities and non-discrimination, including non-discrimination of persons with disabilities (UN), as well as equal opportunities between women and men (KiM) in accordance with the Guidelines on the implementation of equality principles under EU funds for 2021-2027. Implementation of the project assumptions, including the implementation of professional internships, will be based on the Project Selection Regulations (PRC) developed on the basis of: ‘Guidelines for the implementation of projects involving the European Social Fund Plus in regional programmes 2021-2027’. The project will be implemented in partnership - the Applicant and Lead Partner is a business environment institution - the Institute for Economic Development. The Institute facilitates the functioning of enterprises, does not operate for profit, and allocates all its profits to reinvesting in statutory activities. The Institute has an organizational and legal form: Foundation (Premium Clause 3). The project will be implemented by Krystyna Niemczak Educentrum - the head of the local authority, which is the governing body of the Educentrum Police Medical School in Bialystok, whose students will be supported under the project.
