Improving the energy efficiency of the OSP Remizy building in Manasterz in the City and Commune of Jawornik Polski.

The project includes a task related to improving the energy efficiency of the public building in Manasterz and increasing its accessibility for people with special needs. The OSP Remizy building (37-230 Manasterz 574) was built in 1980 and has a cubature in the heated part equal to 1878,42m3. The building is not historic and is the property of the Applicant on the basis of an entry in the land and mortgage register with the following numbers: PR1R/00004522/4 and PR1R/00005274/7.The lack of thermal insulation in the building leads to large heat losses that penetrate through the external walls, the ceiling under the unheated attic, numerous thermal bridges and leaky windows and doors with low thermal parameters. The foundations of the building are leaky, which causes wetness and dampness of the rooms located near the ground and do not have moisture, heat and drainage insulation. The low efficiency of the heating system, which has not been modernised since 1984, results from the use of technically obsolete solutions that supply the building with heat and hot water. As a result, a large amount of energy is consumed and high costs are incurred, which do not translate into sufficient heating of the rooms. In addition, the building does not use any RES installations and has energy-intensive lighting. According to the energy audit carried out in the building, it is possible to reduce the annual final energy demand by 85.15%. A real reduction in the consumption of heat and electricity is possible primarily thanks to the thermomodernization of a given building, i.e. improving its properties and technical features, by: insulation of the exterior walls of the building, performance of thermal and humidity insulation of the foundations of the building together with drainage, replacement of window and door joinery, insulation of the ceiling under the unheated attic, modernization of the heating system and preparation of hot water, installation of PV installations, installation of energy storage, installation of air conditioners (air heat pumps), modernization of lighting, installation of monitoring of electricity consumption and energy consumption management system in the building, and installation of external blinds. The project also includes tasks aimed at adapting the building to the needs of people with disabilities. The general objectives of the project are: improvement of the technical condition of the municipal infrastructure building, high comfort of use of the building, limited thermal energy losses, reduced emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere, rationalisation of the heating costs of the building and development, improvement of the condition and efficiency of energy infrastructure – improvement of the state of energy security, as well as ensuring access to the building on an equal basis with others for persons with special needs.
