The subject of the project is the comprehensive modernisation of public buildings - primary schools in Wietlin and Miękisz Nowy - towards energy-efficient buildings by insulating the external walls of buildings, replacing window frames and installing heat pumps and photovoltaic installations. The building of the Maria Konopnicka Primary School in Wietlina, owned by the Municipality of Laszki, is located on Register plot No 158, r. Wietlin Wieś, EKW No PR1J/00070223/4. The building of the Maria Konopnicka Primary School in Miękisz Nowy, owned by the Municipality of Laszki, is located on plot No 377/1, r. Miękisz Nowy, EKW No. PR1J/00047660/9. The buildings perform an educational function, in addition, in the building in Wietlina there is a Primary Health Care Clinic in Jarosław, Branch in Wietlina. The buildings are not listed in the register of monuments. The implementation of the project results from the identified problems and needs that justify its implementation: heat losses through insulated walls, inefficient central heating installation, outdated and leaky window and door joinery, outdated building usage standards. These problems resulted in: increased expenditure on heating buildings at the expense of other expenditure, increased energy losses in public buildings, increasing air pollution, thermal discomfort experienced by building occupants and deteriorating conditions for the use of public buildings The project aims to improve the energy standard of the buildings covered by the planned investment, create appropriate indoor conditions, reduce the cost of heating buildings and reduce environmental pollution. Benefits of the project: increasing the comfort of use of educational infrastructure, reducing emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere (by 68.35 tCO2/year), reducing annual primary energy consumption (from 939.45 MWh/year to 505.29 MWh/year) and thus reducing the costs of heating buildings, and electricity costs thanks to the use of renewable energy sources (0.0396 MW from RES).
