Purchase of specialized equipment for the TSO unit entered into the CRSG from the area of Wielopole Skrzyńskie Commune

The main objective of the project is to increase the level of safety and fire protection of the final beneficiaries in the Municipality of Wielopole Skrzyńskie by purchasing a heavy rescue and firefighting car for the Volunteer Fire Brigade unit in Wielopole Skrzyńskie. The main objective of the project will contribute to the achievement of specific objectives, the most important of which are: • a significant improvement in the technical condition of the equipment at the disposal of the TSO unit in Wielopol Skrzyński through the purchase of a new heavy rescue and firefighting car, • a guarantee and significantly better availability of spare parts for a heavy firefighting car, • a significant increase in the level of safety of firefighters directed to rescue operations, • reducing the risk of loss of health and life of residents of the Wielopole Skrzyńskie Commune, as well as a significant reduction in the scale of damage to high-value property and areas of special natural value and protected areas. • Improving the equipment of TSOs, • Adapting the rolling stock of TSO combat vehicles to the current needs in accordance with the guidelines of the PSP Headquarters, • Increasing the professionalism of the TSO unit entered in the CSRG, • Improving the safety of residents, • Increasing the quality and speed of rescue operations and removing the consequences of disasters and threats, • Improving the working conditions of firefighters, • Increasing the safety of TSO teams during rescue operations, • Improving the image of TSOs among the public and increasing the number of TSO members. The subject of the project is the purchase of 1 fire truck for the Volunteer Fire Brigade unit in Wielopol Skrzyński, which is entered into the KSRG. The main objective of the project is to effectively prevent and reduce the impact of potential risks (e.g. fires, natural disasters, etc.). The purchased vehicle will be equipped with the latest, currently available rescue and firefighting equipment (tank with a capacity of at least 5,000 liters, 4x4 pulse, engine min. EURO6). The car will have to replace the already worn out equipment in the possession of the unit, which will be withdrawn from use. The implementation of the project will contribute to increasing safety in the rapidly developing commune of Wielopole Skrzyńskie, will protect natural values such as: The Czarnorzecko – Strzyżowski, Strzyżowsko – Sędziszowski Landscape Park is a protected area and will enable quick access to the victims of accidents, including on the provincial road No. 986 Tuszya-Ropczyce-Wiśniowa. Promptly reaching the scene of the incident from the moment of notification to the TSO is a key element of the success of the rescue operation. Therefore, in order to guarantee public safety, it is necessary to have properly functioning combat vehicles that will not fail at the most important moment. Thanks to the implementation of the project, the costs of repairs and fuel consumption of means of transport equipped by the TSO in Wielopol Skrzyński will be reduced and the safety and effectiveness of firefighters during rescue operations will be increased. The main purpose of this project is to do so. Taking into account the above main groups of problems diagnosed by the Applicant, which influenced the decision to implement the project are: • poor technical condition of the equipment at the disposal of the TSO unit in Wielopol Skrzyński, • lack of water stations for water abstraction for firefighting purposes, • low level of safety of firefighters forced to carry out rescue operations using outdated equipment, • climate change, which increases the likelihood of fire hazards and other natural disasters, • high risk of destruction of areas of special natural value and protected areas, • lack of own funds to retrofit the TSO in Wielopol Skrzyński to the level of needs resulting from challenges and the area of operation.
