Increasing the rescue potential in the municipality of Pysznica

The project will consist in the purchase by the Municipality of Pysznica of the necessary equipment and vehicles to carry out rescue operations and remove the effects of catastrophic events or serious chemical and ecological accidents, increasing the rescue potential in the scope of technical, water and search rescue, in TSO units entered into the National Court Register from the territory of the municipality. The aim of the project is to develop rescue systems and remove the effects of catastrophic events or serious chemical and ecological accidents. Gm. Pysznica is a Leader and individual units - Pysznica, Jastkowice and Kłyżów are Partners. All TSOs have experience in applying for external resources to carry out the tasks assigned to them. The aim of the partnership is to jointly prepare, submit an application for funding, and if it is received, manage and implement a project under the FEP programme for 2021-2027. The partners shall contribute human, organisational, technical and financial resources to the project under the conditions set out in the Partnership Contract. The commune of Pysznica is dynamically developing, there are more companies and residents, and thus also needs in ensuring safety in the face of climate change. The TSO in Pysznica has 42 members, including 19 active ones. It has 3 fire trucks, including a 17-year-old light truck, which is worn out and needs to be replaced. The purchased light rescue and firefighting vehicle will allow the unit to carry out technical rescue tasks. The development of the municipality and the region, an increasing number of single-family houses, a growing network of public roads, including high-speed traffic, require protection in the event of accidents, collisions, random events, etc. Currently, 12 active firefighters have training in technical rescue. The unit from Pysznica has appropriate facilities providing a garage place for the car. The TSO in Jastkowice has 44 members, including 26 active ones. The purchase of equipment for search operations (quad and drone) as well as for operations during rescue operations will greatly improve the efficiency of the TSO unit in Jastkowice. The Volunteer Fire Brigade in Jastkowice has at its disposal a TSO fire station building which consists of two garage stations, social rooms and a free-standing garage which is located next to the fire station. The firehouse is located on the main district road in the centre of the village of Jastkowice with good access , equipped with the necessary security systems such as 24-hour monitoring, alarm system, with a place to store additional equipment. In the near future, it is planned to expand the fire station with further rooms (construction project in 2023). In the TSO Jastkowice there are 28 rescuers of TABs who have the right to direct rescue and firefighting operations (condition at Dz. 21-08-2023 ). Entitlements to drive vehicles cat. B has 27 people. The unit has a youth fire team whose members acquire skills that will ensure continuity in the operation of TSOs in the coming years. Kłyżów is located on the San River, where drowning or other water events occur. Historically, this region is known for rafting rafts of rafters who floated wood from the Sandomierz Forest towards Gdańsk. Currently, annual rafting trips from Ulanowo to Gdańsk are organized. In the vicinity of Kłyżów, on the San river, a threshold was built up at the Stalowa Wola CHP plant along with a passage for boats and kayaks. The construction of a canoe trail is planned. This attraction will increase the number of people moving around the river and around .San as a river rich in fauna attracts a large group of anglers who pursue their passion both from the banks of the river and from boats or pontoons. The purchase of a motor boat on a chassis with a quad used for transport in difficult (shore) terrain would allow the unit to operate efficiently for the purpose of rescuing people as well as searchers. Annex 7 to the proposal has been updated.
