This vehicle will significantly improve the mobility of the unit and, above all, the safety of the residents of the Municipality, as well as strengthen the TSO's potential to prevent and remove the effects of natural disasters by better equipping services. The rescue and fire-fighting vehicle purchased under the project (Euro 6 standard) will replace the worn-out emergency heavy-duty STAR rescue and fire-fighting vehicle – year of manufacture 2003 (Euro 3 standard). The vehicle also does not have seat belts for all passengers, which means that driving this vehicle is associated with a high risk to health and life. The project will thus also have a positive impact on the implementation of the policy of sustainable development of protection and improvement of the quality of the environment. The direct objective will be achieved through the following milestones: - Improving the equipment of the TSO Skowierzyn, - Increasing the effectiveness of the unit's activities, - Improving the safety and working conditions of firefighters, - Shortening the response time to environmental threats, - Improving the quality of life of residents of the Municipality of Zaleszany by increasing their safety, - Reducing the loss of property lost as a result of fires, - Reducing the loss of property lost as a result of other natural disasters, - Reducing the number of fatalities caused by fires, natural disasters and traffic accidents, -Reducing the injuries of rescued victims of fires, natural disasters and traffic accidents, -Reduction of forest areas damaged as a result of fires, - Reducing damage and losses of biocenotics and biodiversity - Reducing environmental damage caused by chemical pollution, resulting from accidents and accidents in industrial installations or means of transport, - Reducing emissions of carbon monoxide, particulate matter and liquid (s), hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxide. Taking into account the potential risks, as well as the condition of the equipment of the unit, there is no doubt as to the legitimacy of the project.
