The project pursues the objective ERDF/CF.CP2.V , 063 - Supply of water for human consumption in accordance with performance criteria. It is included in the catalogue of support areas indicated in the ‘Investment Programme to improve the quality and reduce losses of water intended for human consumption’ . Due to the lowering of the water level, there is a shortage of water for the population . The project includes: 1. Preparation of the project - documentation 1) Execution of geological and drilling works related to the execution of two research and exploitation holes in the area of the water intake in Lubenia well and SUW 2) Design of expansion and reconstruction of the water treatment station in Lubeni and construction of a backup power supply for the P1 pumping station in Straszydl 2. Implementation of the project – works and investor supervision 1) construction of the enclosure with fittings of 2 deep wells with connections 2) extension and reconstruction of the SUW in Lubeni and construction of backup power supply for the P1 pumping station in Straszydl (including purchases indicated in Annex 6) 3) delivery and installation of RES 3. The investment will be used to improve the quality and quantity of water produced. Due to the increasing demand for water and water losses, measures have been taken to build an additional well and expand the SUW technological system in Lubeni. Surveys of geol-drilling wells were carried out. The research is positive. A new well is planned. Work on the extension project is coming to an end. SUW. We're waiting for the so-called bud. The technological system will be expanded with 2 additional filters, which will allow to obtain better physicochemical parameters of water. Water production for consumers will also be increased by about 25%. The planned construction of 2 treated water tanks with a capacity of 150m3 each will ensure adequate water retention and stable operation of the water treatment station. An extension of the existing water treatment station located on the plot of land with the number ewid. 51/4 in m Lubenia. It is planned to increase the efficiency of the water treatment plant by installing an additional 2 filters. The filters will be placed on the foundations. The water treatment process will be fully automatic. There will also be the possibility of remote monitoring of the treatment process. The filter hall will be expanded, which will be extended by 6 m. The structure of the hall will be expanded. There will be made 2 tanks of treated water with a capacity of 150m3 each. The tanks will be provided with pipelines supplying water after the filtration process and pipelines draining water to the hydrophore set supplying water to the network. The newly built reservoirs will be connected to 2 existing clean water reservoirs and will constitute a reservoir of treated water. It is also planned to expand the electrical installation of water treatment stations and the automation of technological processes and video monitoring, as well as the expansion of RES installations (up to 25% of the project value). New filters and new treated water tanks will be connected to the existing control system. On the premises of the existing pumping station P1 in Straszydl located on the plot with the number ewid. 2240/1 will be installed a power generator with a capacity of 8 kVA, it will be set on a reinforced concrete foundation. The unit will be connected via the SZR system to the existing main switchboard. This system will automatically start the generator in the event of voltage loss from the power grid. This solution will provide consumers with permanent access to drinking water. The project aims to improve the quality of water supply systems and eliminate water losses, improve water efficiency and improve water quality . It is implemented in an area where wastewater management is provided in accordance with national and EU regulations in an area of up to 15,000 people.
