The main objective of the project entitled ‘Modernisation of water treatment plants in Lutowiska and Smolnik’ is to organise water management and improve socio-economic conditions in the Lutowiska Commune. The subject of the project are: 1. number of rebuilt water treatment stations - 2 pcs. The implementation of the project will allow for adequate access to water supply infrastructure in the Lutowiska Commune through the reconstruction of two water treatment stations in Lutowiska and Smolnik, which will allow for a comprehensive solution to problems related to shortages in water supply infrastructure in the Lutowiska Commune. The project responds to the identified needs of the municipality and its inhabitants, which are: - reduced standard of living, - failure to provide the necessary infrastructure to increase the number of entities conducting economic activity and the resulting restrictions on the creation of new jobs, - little interest in the region of foreign capital. The SUW buildings in Lutowiska and Smolnik serve as a technical infrastructure facility as a water treatment station and a local hydrophore supplying the water supply network for Lutowiska and Smolnik. The aim of the modernization is to maintain the reliability of water supply to the water supply network and adapt the building to the needs of new technology Orderly water and sewage management, rational waste management and prevention of environmental degradation are very important aspects in the economic development of municipalities, increasing their competitiveness and attractiveness.
