The project includes works related to the extension, reconstruction of the infrastructure necessary for the intake, treatment, storage and distribution of drinking water, i.e. the water treatment plant (WTP) in the village of Krasne, municipality of Krasne. Its aim is to ensure the right amount and quality of drinking water for the inhabitants of the municipality of Krasne. All activities related to the implementation of the investment are aimed at increasing the production capacity of water with appropriate parameters and increasing the level of reliability of the main element of the water supply system. The currently operating water treatment plant, due to over 15 years of service life and deteriorating quality of raw water, works at the limit of its technological capabilities. The installation is overloaded hydraulically, it is noted ok. 5% increase in water partitions year on year, at the same time the quality parameters of the captured water are deteriorating, and the decreasing level of raw water quality is associated with the need to improve the water treatment process. The SUW facility as a whole is considered to be worn out, technically worn out and absolutely in need of expansion in order to increase production and storage capacity along with modernization, allowing for greater automation of work at lower operating costs. The planned project therefore includes the construction of a new technological installation adapted to the capacity of Qmax/h - 130 m3/h along with the reconstruction of the SUW building and associated infrastructure to the necessary extent and the modernisation of internal and external installations, including sanitary, electrical and AKPiA. As part of the technological works, among others, a new installation for disinfection of treated water and new hydrophore sets of network pumps will be made, two new water chambers of the treated water equalization tank will also be built, each with a total retention capacity of V 254 m3, and the existing four chambers with a capacity of V~94,5 m3 each will be modernized (including one tank will be converted and adapted to the averaging and aeration chamber of raw water). In connection with the investment, the maximum daily capacity of water treatment stations (SUW) will be increased from 1105 m3/d to 2600 m3/d. As a result of the investment, the situation of residents connected to the water supply network will significantly improve by ensuring a continuous supply of water with appropriate pressure and quality parameters. In addition, by increasing the production of treated water, it will be possible to carry out activities related to the expansion of the water supply network, as well as to increase the number of people using water supply services throughout the municipality of Krasne. Complete automation of SUW operation and monitoring and visualization system will enable continuous control of processes taking place on the facility, early diagnosis of possible irregularities and prevention of major accidents. The increase in the retention and equalization capacity of reservoirs will meet the needs of the population related to increased water abstraction from the network during peak periods, as well as provide the required supply of water accumulated for firefighting purposes. The designed facilities will take into account technological processes and related auxiliary activities, working environment conditions and construction and material solutions adapted to this type of facilities.
