The material scope of the project includes: Increasing the efficiency of the existing SUW through partial replacement of existing technological, electrical, automation and control equipment and installations. Construction of a set of photovoltaic panels for supplying SUW with electricity In addition: 14.Investor Supervision 15.Technical Documentation 16.Application Documentation The main problems of project beneficiaries are: - Threats to the security of water supply with the parameters of water suitable for human consumption for all residents of the Municipality, - Insufficient condition of water distribution infrastructure, including the lack of armament of areas intended for industrial, recreational and residential activities, - Significant degree of consumption of technology functioning in the SUW, - Emergency of water abstraction systems increasing service costs - High economic indicators of water infrastructure, which generate high service costs due to the above problems. The main objective of the project is to improve water management in the Borowa Commune. The main objective will be pursued through specific objectives, which will be related to the long-term benefits that will be achieved through the implementation of the project: • increasing the availability of drinking water in the area covered by the investment, which will contribute to raising the standard of living of the inhabitants of the commune, as well as indirectly towns in which the project will be implemented • protection of groundwater • improvement of fire protection of the area covered by the investment • increasing the economic, tourist and settlement attractiveness of the commune areas • improving the quality of services related to water management • reducing the number of accidents • improving the working conditions and safety of SUW employees • reducing the unit costs of water management • improving the image of the commune / town • increasing the ecological awareness of residents. The project to improve the functioning of water infrastructure in the area covered by the project is an element of filling the gaps in the water management of the Municipality of Borowa and is also an element of strategic thinking about the development of the entire Municipality. Water management is one of the main factors determining the state of the natural environment and the quality of life of residents. This project also aims to expand and organize water supply management and eliminate existing failures. The layout of the planned construction works allows for the adoption of an optimal schedule for the execution of individual and adopted technological solutions, modern equipment, ensure proper quality and relatively low investment costs. For this purpose, a well-functioning system providing water to customers is necessary, depending on the needs, modernized water treatment stations. In addition, increasing the level of water infrastructure equipment by the elements indicated in the material scope will reduce the distance of the municipality to the more developed areas of the voivodship. The project submitted for funding is a means to solve the identified problems. The objectives and scope of the investment are closely related to the existing problems in the area of water and sewage management of the municipality.
