The material scope of the project includes the following activities in the villages of Piątkowiec and Wadowice Górne in the municipality of Wadowice Górne, i.e.: 1. Construction of gravity sewerage network from PVC-U pipes heavy series "S" - SN 8 kPa. The total length of the gravity sewer network is – 5718.73 m2. Construction of the sanitary sewerage network with construction of 4 sewage pumping stations with their electrical installations. The total length of the gravity sewer network is – 1592,03 mb The total length of the network is 7310,76 mb 3. Construction of a 40.04 kWp photovoltaic installation in Izbiska In addition, the project envisages including: 4. Orders to develop project documentation 5. Investor supervision orders 6. The main problems of the project beneficiary are: - Insufficient level of sewerage of the Municipality, including the existing disproportion between the length of the sewage network, occurring in rural areas and in urban areas, - Environmental risk of untreated sewage - Need to protect against natural disasters related to natural conditions and the shape of the Municipality area - Risks to the safety of the functioning of wastewater treatment infrastructure for the residents of the Municipality, - Significant degree of consumption of wastewater treatment plant technology - high economic indicators of wastewater infrastructure, which, due to the above problems, generate high operating costs. The main objective of the project is to improve water and wastewater management in the Municipality. The main objective will be pursued through specific objectives, which will be related to the long-term benefits that will be achieved through the implementation of the project: • increasing the availability of a high-quality waste water treatment system in the area covered by the investment, which will contribute to raising the standard of living of the inhabitants of the municipality. • Preserve the full biodiversity and landscape of the municipality by taking the necessary measures to counteract the factors and phenomena that have a negative impact on the state of biodiversity, including environmental pollution resulting from poor wastewater management. • protection of groundwater • improvement of the environmental protection of the area covered by the investment • increasing the economic, tourist and settlement attractiveness of the Commune's areas • improvement of the quality of wastewater management services The project will improve the functioning of the wastewater infrastructure in the area covered by the project and is an element of filling the gaps in this economy for the Commune. It is one of the priority elements of strategic thinking about development. The sewage treatment plant handles the entire area of the municipality. Growing demand, the technical condition of individual elements of this infrastructure and problems with maintaining the required amount and quality of treated wastewater make it necessary to modernize and expand the existing infrastructure in this network. Actions will contribute to the conservation of biodiversity, which is a natural heritage and its preservation is a prerequisite for ensuring access to nature's richness for future generations. Disrupting the stability of ecosystems can lead to multifaceted negative impacts on the economy and society. Supporting investments in biodiversity protection, increasing green spaces will have a positive impact on the health and life expectancy of the population and thus indirectly reduce the phenomenon of social exclusion and related poverty. The end result of the project will be the protection of biodiversity and the sustainable preservation of all its elements. The project submitted for funding is a means to solve the identified problems. The objectives and scope of the investment are closely related to the existing problems in the area of water and sewage management of the municipality.
