The scope of the project includes the implementation of a control system for monitoring and visualization of working parameters, which allows for optimizing process management, supervising technology, early response of service services and avoiding failures, which contributes to a significant reduction in operating costs. The investment provides for the supply of: 1. Equipment of the raw sewage pumping station Pasternik 2. Control system for monitoring and visualization of the operating parameters of 25 sewage pumping stations along with the delivery of pumps in the Zaklików 3 agglomeration. Monitoring control system and visualization of working parameters of drinking water intake Karkówka 4. Installation of a photovoltaic installation 49.6 kWp at the treatment plant in Zaklikowo 5. Orders to develop project documentation 6. Investor supervision orders 7. The main problems of the project beneficiary are: - Insufficient level of management and supervision of the proper operation of water and sewage infrastructure and the disproportion between this infrastructure, occurring in rural areas in relation to urban ones, - Environmental risk of untreated sewage, which, without proper supervision, poses a risk - Need to protect against natural disasters related to natural conditions and the terrain of the Municipality - Risks to the safety of infrastructure functioning for the residents of the Municipality, - Significant degree of technology consumption - high economic indicators of water and sewage infrastructure, which, due to the above problems, generate high maintenance costs. The main objective of the project is to improve water and wastewater management in the Municipality. The main objective will be pursued through specific objectives, which will be related to the long-term benefits that will be achieved through the implementation of the project: • increasing the availability of a high-quality water system in the area covered by the investment, which will contribute to raising the standard of living of the inhabitants of the commune. • Preserve the full biodiversity and landscape of the municipality by taking the necessary measures to counteract the factors and phenomena that have a negative impact on the state of biodiversity, including environmental pollution resulting from poor wastewater management. • protection of groundwater • improvement of the environmental protection of the area covered by the investment • increasing the economic, tourist and settlement attractiveness of the Commune's areas • improvement of the quality of services related to water management The project will improve the functioning of wastewater infrastructure in the area covered by the project and is an element of filling gaps in this economy for the Commune. It is one of the priority elements of strategic thinking about development. The sewage treatment plant handles the entire area of the municipality. Growing demand, the technical condition of individual elements of this infrastructure and problems with maintaining the required amount and quality of treated wastewater force the need to modernize the existing infrastructure. Actions will contribute to the conservation of biodiversity, which is a natural heritage and its preservation is a prerequisite for ensuring access to nature's richness for future generations. Disrupting the stability of ecosystems can lead to multifaceted negative impacts on the economy and society. Supporting investments in biodiversity protection, increasing green spaces will have a positive impact on the health and life expectancy of the population and thus indirectly reduce the phenomenon of social exclusion and related poverty. The end result of the project will be the protection of biodiversity and the sustainable preservation of all its elements. The project submitted for funding is a means to solve the identified problems. The objectives and scope of the investment are closely related to the existing problems in the area of water and sewage management of the municipality.
