Construction of domestic sewerage in the following localities: Duńkowice and Piaski in the municipality of Radymno

The project involves the construction of domestic sewage networks with sewage connections in the municipalities of Radymno: Duńkowice and Piaski, which are part of the agglomeration ‘Saints’. The domestic wastewater from the above-mentioned localities will be directed through the existing sewage system in Michałówka and Grabowiec to the mechanical-biological sewage treatment plant in Świętom with a capacity of 1069 m3/day, which is prepared for the reception and effective treatment of wastewater from the entire agglomeration. After treatment, the waste water in the treatment plant will end up in the receiver, the San River. As part of the implementation of the task, a sanitary sewerage network with a total length of approx. 27.54 km (including gravitational approx. 17.17 km, pressure approx. 4.99 km and connections approx. 5.38 km). The project also assumes the construction of a photovoltaic installation with a capacity of up to 40 kW, which will improve the cost-effectiveness of wastewater treatment and increase the share of used electricity from renewable sources. Implementation of the project will make it possible to regulate wastewater management in the area covered by the project. Currently, sanitary sewage is discharged into drainless reservoirs or through a settling tank, with a very different retention period, into drainage ditches. Most sewage tanks and settlers were already built as absorbent wells, without maintaining tightness, in order to reduce the amount of sewage exported by the slurry tanker. Abandoning the construction of sewerage is associated with further degradation of the environment of a size and extent difficult to determine. Leakage of backyard reservoirs may lead to contamination of groundwater and, as a result, may cause a number of diseases in residents using water intakes based on a polluted groundwater reservoir. The comfort and health of residents and elements of the natural environment will deteriorate. In the light of the above, the most advantageous option will be the construction of a sewage network with the supply of sewage to the existing treatment plant in Święto. The construction of sanitary sewerage will enable the gradual elimination of individual reservoirs of wastewater, which is the main source of pollution of groundwater, surface waters and soils. The implementation of the project will contribute to the reduction of water and land pollution. This will increase the level of protection of natural ecosystems and will improve the quality of life of residents covered by the investment, improve the quality of ground and surface water, improve the attractiveness of the area of the Radymno Commune as a place of residence as well as increase the investment attractiveness of the areas covered by the investment. This project will contribute to ensuring that the sanitary and environmental needs of future generations can be met. Implementation of the project Construction of domestic sewerage in the following localities: Duńkowice and Piaski in the Radymno commune is also dictated by the need to carry out the Municipality's own tasks to meet the needs of its residents regarding the sanitary and environmental status. This task is carried out by Przedsiębiorstwo Komunalne Gminy Radymno Sp. z o.o., which is active in the field of collective water supply and collective waste water disposal. Thanks to the implementation of the project, the access to the sewage network of the commune residents will be equalized, which will increase the investment attractiveness and the standard of living of residents in accordance with the principles of respect for the environment. In the area covered by the project, a wastewater management system in accordance with Dyr. Council of 21 May 1991 on urban waste water treatment.
