Modernization of wastewater treatment plant through installation of RES and construction of sewage network in Wielopole Skrzyńskie commune

The main objective of the planned investment is to solve the problem of water management within the Municipality of Wielopole Skrzyńskie. The most important problems of an infrastructural nature diagnosed in the area of the Municipality of Wielopole Skrzyńskie include insufficiently developed state of technical infrastructure in a negative way affecting the economic, social, but also the natural environment. The under-equipment of the Wielopole Commune with a sewage network adversely affects the standard of living of residents. First of all, their level of health safety is reduced – the risk of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract increases. The lack of appropriate land development also reduces the attractiveness of a given area for potential investors who are not interested in investing in a region with a low level of infrastructure development. The level of development of water and wastewater infrastructure also has a negative impact on the natural environment. Surface water, groundwater (not infrequently a drinking water intake) and soil are polluted as a result of municipal and economic impurities entering them. As part of the project, a sanitary sewerage system will be built and RES will be installed for the Sewage Treatment Plant building. Providing basic services for residents and business entities will improve the investment attractiveness of the municipality and contribute to the sustainable development of the Podkarpackie region and Poland compared to other EU member states.
