Improving the quality of the educational offer of local government Primary Schools from the area of Wielopole Skrzyńskie Commune

The aim of the project is to ensure equal access to high-quality general education for 613 students by carrying out construction works in 5 primary schools and purchasing equipment for 5 STEAM studios for each school covered by the project operating in the municipality of Wielopole Skrzyńskie: SP in Wielopol Skrzyński, SP in Brzeziny, SP in Nawś, SP in Broniszów and SP in Glinik in the period 04.08.2023-31.12.2024. The project is in line with the objectives of ERDF.CP4.II - Improving equal access to and completion of quality and inclusive education services, (...) but also ESF+.CP4.F - Promoting equal access to and completion of quality and inclusive education and training, in particular for disadvantaged groups, from early childhood education and care (...). SUBJECT MATTER OF THE PROJECT: execution of construction works and purchase of equipment in Primary Schools in the municipality of Wielopole Skrzyńskie, facilitating the implementation of inclusive education close to the place of residence of all children, including children with disabilities or special needs by attending public schools in the municipality of Wielopole Skrzyńskie, including: - construction of an elevator and a driveway in SP Brzeziny, - modernization of the toilet in SP Brzeziny in order to separate for people with disabilities and modernization of computer rooms in SP in Wielopol Skrzyński, SP in Brzeziny, SP in Nawś, SP in Broniszów and SP in Glinik. -purchase of equipment for 5 STEAM studios for each school covered by the PROBLEMS project: 1) Shortcomings related to didactic facilities, in particular in terms of modern equipment for STEAM, IT and multim. equipment adapted to contemporary trends and pedagogical innovations 2) Unadapted architecture in terms of accessibility for people with disabilities. The current infrastructure significantly limits the possibility of participation of students with reduced mobility. It is necessary to adapt the infrastructure to the needs of pupils with special needs, so that the school is "open" to all pupils and implements the principles of equal opportunities education policy. NEEDS: creating conditions for the implementation of inclusive education in all schools in the Wielopole Skrzyńskie commune and for the implementation of classes improving the quality of education, supporting students in the acquisition and development of key, social and socio-emotional competences.
