Modernization of educational infrastructure in schools from the Ropczyce Commune

The principles of the education system in Poland are regulated by the Constitution of the Republic of Poland, according to which everyone has the right to education, education is mandatory until the age of 18, education in public schools is free. Education is therefore a fundamental right of every human being, regardless of his or her abilities or limitations. Part-time children also have the right to education, but this process often presents many difficulties and challenges. Therefore, the school should provide each student with the necessary conditions for his development, prepare him to fulfill family and civic duties based on the principles of solidarity, democracy, tolerance, justice and freedom. It is planned to create 5 workshops for children with special needs (SPE) and 8 STEAM workshops for practical teaching of subjects, as well as to modernize the existing ORLIK sports fields. The aim of the project is to ensure equal access to education and high-quality education for children and young people in ropczyce schools. Currently, in our schools, we have students with SPE with a mild degree of intel., autism, social inadequacy, motor inadequacy, dyslexia, dysgraphy, dysortography, ill. Students with SPE require a special approach and thoughtful and often unconventional, tailored to the individual needs and capabilities of children, methods and forms of educational work and therapy. In this regard, digital tools are very helpful, thanks to which high potential can often be unleashed in students despite many sensory, perceptual, communication and social disorders. With the help of these tools, the learning process can be supported, in particular the acquisition of basic skills by students, but also increasing motivation to work and self-esteem, children can improve visual-motor coordination, accuracy, perceptiveness, transience and concentration of attention. Thanks to the introduction of the STEAM model into the education process, which takes the form of workshops and projects, the acquisition of knowledge takes place faster and is more effective. Students taking part in the classes are definitely more focused due to the nature of the lesson focused on solving problems, looking for solutions and discovering new opportunities. These types of classes give children the opportunity to create, study prepared solutions and test and test them in practice. The purchased aids will be used for diagnosis, therapy and education of pupils from SPE and will support the school in the process of education using ICT in education. The use of modern therapeutic programs at school will provide students with a high quality of education, adequate to their individual needs. In recent years, in our schools we can observe a significant increase in the number of children and adolescents of school age with SPE. This situation requires that any school in which such persons have been diagnosed should be adapted to the effective education of pupils with an SPE. In most cases of our schools, there is a lack of appropriate equipment and equipment or teaching aids that would be adapted to the individual needs of children in accordance with the judgments issued. In addition, schools lack professional studios, fully equipped with modern equipment and equipment, in which both those with high abilities but also those with average skills could practically acquire new knowledge and develop their interests. An additional element will also be the renovation of the existing artificial grass pitch and ORLIK polyurethane pitch located at SP No. 5 in Ropczyce in order to improve the conditions for practicing sport and conducting classes, and above all to increase the level of safety for children and teenagers learning at this school. These pitches were built in 2008 and in 2015 underwent a partial renovation. Due to the intensity of their use by the largest number of students, the school needs to be refurbished.
