The project aims to improve equal access to quality and inclusive services for lifelong learning through the development of accessible infrastructure. The subject of the project is to improve the quality of general education in the Secondary School and Primary School No. 10 (SP10) in Tarnobrzeg by modernizing rooms to create a STEAM studio with the purchase of equipment and works on adapting the infrastructure to the needs of people with special educational needs. High School is a public educational institution with a wide offer of education, in the school year 2023/24, a call for classes with polytechnic/economic, med.-natural, socio-legal profiles was carried out. There are 1,054 students attending this school year. Material scope: modernization of rooms in order to create a STEAM studio by performing renovation works and purchase of equipment, modernization of the corridor for 1p by applying accessibility standards in renovation works. The main problem of institutions is the inadequacy of rooms for conducting multi-thematic classes in the form of projects and workshops and the lack of appropriate equipment corresponding to modern forms of education. The rooms being the subject of the project will be modernized in order to adapt them so that it is possible to conduct classes and implement projects of an interdisciplinary nature, with the possibility of using at every stage of the lesson unit or other form of classes. The use of STEAM infrastructure during extracurricular activities will improve the living situation of students – Polish and those coming from war zones and other migrants – by creating interesting forms of spending time, engaging in activities that develop their personality, interests and passions. Classes will also have the value of integrating the school and local community. Purchased devices will allow you to conduct classes recognized by therapists as advisable with deficits such as the threat of social maladjustment, behavioral disorders or emotions. Classes will develop students' key competences. The use of modern IT equipment will support the development and skills of learners in the field of modern information and communication technologies, which are an excellent tool for reducing social inequalities and increasing the life chances of excluded people. Students who are particularly talented, thanks to the possibilities offered by modern IT equipment, including robotics and technology, will gain the opportunity to deepen their knowledge, pursue scientific passions, create their own profile, which will lead to a significant development of creative thinking, independent investigation of solutions, drawing logical conclusions, as well as cooperation in a group. Students with specific learning difficulties require support, appropriate teaching methods and the proper organisation of lessons. The planned project will contribute to the correct assessment of their achievements, taking into account the definition of achievable goals for them, adjusting educational requirements and individualizing the form of control, which will translate into the educational success of students in the learning and teaching process. The planned modern works are aimed at improving accessibility for students with special educational needs and people using the project's products.
