The subject of the project is the development of easily accessible infrastructure for vocational education in Tarnobrzeg by modernizing the buildings of 2 vocational schools and purchasing equipment for the workshop necessary for practical education. Improving the quality of vocational education through investments in the existing didactic base is a response to the demand of the labour market for professions, i.e. analyst technicians (chemical and biological industry) and passenger service techniques in air, sea and station transport. The Podkarpackie Voivodeship has the potential to produce medicines and dietary supplements. Analyst technician is necessary in the process of their production, which is why this direction is important in the field of education of future staff. In addition, local chemical and food companies report a need for analyst technicians and provide apprenticeships, internships and post-study employment. The passenger service technician is an innovative direction of education attracting more and more students from all over the country, increases employment opportunities after graduation, on board the plane, airport, on the train and on passenger ferries. Due to the fact that the Podkarpackie Voivodeship is the undisputed leader in the field of aviation and the demand for airline employees will increase every year, the above-mentioned field of education, enriched with classes and training in the VR Room will be crucial for the economic development of Podkarpackie. The schools covered by the project have specialized staff and provide education in areas related to the smart specializations of the Podkarpackie Province, i.e. aviation and aerospace and quality of life. A limitation in the development of education in the above-mentioned fields is the insufficient didactic base - the lack of appropriate rooms and specialized equipment for the studio to conduct practical vocational training. In order to adapt the premises to the real working environment, it is envisaged to carry out construction works and purchase equipment: -in ZS No. 1 - the creation of a Virtual Reality Room (VR), where, using modern technology (VR goggles), practical training of the flight attendant profession in the area of 6 VR training modules will be possible, enabling the simulation of various scenarios to which passengers are exposed in a safe virtual environment. Thanks to this, participants will be able to gain practical experience and improve their skills in a safe and controlled way. In order to adapt the existing hall to the technical requirements of the VR room, including equipment, renovation works in the construction and electrical industry are planned. in ZS No 2, the creation of a chemical laboratory by adapting the classroom and facilities and the microbiological laboratory by redeveloping part of the corridor. Laboratories will map real working conditions, specialized equipment with both devices and reagents will allow practical training of the profession. As part of the project, construction works will be carried out in school buildings to remove architectural barriers for people with disabilities. To this end, toilets and rooms with showers will be rebuilt in the ZS No. 1 building, in accordance with the scope set out in the design documentation. Facilities for the visually impaired and the blind are provided in the form of: installation of "tumours" in the floor, the so-called the ‘comments fields’ and the yellow banding of the items listed in the documentation. In addition, a new stair lift will be installed due to the high failure rate, the ageing level of use of the existing one. In order to ensure accessibility for persons with disabilities of laboratory rooms located on the floor of the ZS No. 2 building, a walking or caterpillar staircase will be purchased and a person will be provided for its operation. This solution results from the impossibility of installing a lift on the stairs dictated by fire regulations. Technical conditions exclude the installation of an elevator
