City of Przemyśl - We improve the architectural accessibility of public buildings

The aim of the project is to include people with disabilities and special needs by eliminating barriers and obstacles in access to public buildings of the City of Przemyśl. The applicant shall carry out an analysis of the accessibility of its public buildings in terms of their accessibility architect. and inform.-communication. As a result, three buildings were selected: Municipal Office, Centre for Vocational and Continuing Training No. 2, Municipal Social Welfare Centre, where the removal of barriers to accessibility is the most urgent. The UM building is a 3-storey building, it contains 10 UM faculties, including: communications, taxes and levies, communal offices, premises, consumer ombudsman, UM cash register, which serve the largest number of residents. The building is only partially accessible. In front of the main entrance there are stairs with handrails. At the back of the building there is a narrow entrance with difficult access for OzN. The upper floors can only be reached by stairs. OzN and difficulty in moving, e.g. elderly people have limited access to the building or are deprived of it and thus cannot do their own business. The best solution for removing the barrier to access is an elevator. CKZiU building No. 2 is a 100-year-old school building. The training takes place in a stationary and part-time system, in the form of: technical school, trade school, LO for adults, post-secondary school, elementary school. for adults, School Career Center and CKU. Entrance to the school is completely inaccessible to OzN and wheelchair users. A barrier to use is also the lack of a bathroom adapted to the needs of OzN. Accessibility to the building will be ensured through the construction of an external and internal slipway for OzN and the construction of a bathroom adapted for OzN. MOPS performs social welfare tasks. People who report to it are people with problems of poverty, long-term unemployment, violence, which already affects their social exclusion. In addition, these people are often burdened with disabilities or have special needs. The MOPS building is partially accessible to OzN. Barrier to access to MOPS services are rooms for customer service completely inappropriate to OzN and particular needs., including the elderly. Barriers will be removed by adapting the space to handle OZN and with special needs. In order to improve access to the building, a GIS system will be created in the form of an interactive map with info. about access. archit. building. publi. and location. parking spaces. available for OzN. The system will comply with the guidelines. WCAG21, which will provide easy and convenient service for people with different types of disabilities. The planned scope of the project will improve the accessibility of existing buildings and services. The applicant has not yet removed barriers to accessibility in the buildings concerned due to a lack of financial resources. Improving the accessibility of the subject. buildings will provide the possibility to use infrastr. OzN, older people and people with special needs on an equal basis with others, which will contribute to the inclusion of not only OzN but also people with special needs, e.g. older people, by ensuring equal access to social, administrative or educational services. The planned support will provide the recipients with the possibility of independent living and social inclusion in accordance with the content of the KPoN: equality and indiscriminateness, accessibility, independent living and social inclusion. The scope of the proposal is consistent with SRW Podkarpackie 2030 and fits into the heading. 2.1.3 and. 2.6.1. and 4.2.3. The project is in line with the Strategy for Responsibilities. By 2020 (from persp. to 2030) and fits in with the specific target. II - Socially sensitive and sustainable development, Area: Social cohesion.
