Expanding the cultural offer and using the potential of cultural institutions in the MOF Mielec-1

As part of the project, it is planned to modernise the infrastructure of the cultural base of the Przecław Commune (GPC), which is the Project Leader, and the Tuszów Narodowy Commune (GTN), which is the Project Partner. Thanks to the investment, after the adaptation of the municipal building, the Culture House in Przecław (GPC) will be built and the Municipal Cultural Centre will be rebuilt and expanded in Grochow (GTN). The implementation of the investment will contribute to increasing the availability of public services (cultural and entertainment) throughout the Municipal Functional Area of Mielec (MOFM), and thus improving the quality of life of residents. In the case of MOFM, in line with the diagnosis made in the Integrated Territorial Investment Strategy for MOFM 2022-2027, the cultural sector has been identified as a key area for support. The project is an integrated response to the identified problems and deficits of Mielce's MOF in the field of culture, focused on increasing the potential of cultural institutions by improving the standard of their infrastructure base and supporting the development of cultural offer. The implementation of the project will improve the quality of life in the MOFM and strengthen its attractiveness by increasing the availability of culture and artistic creation and stimulating the activity and sense of local identity of the inhabitants of the entire MOFM area. The implementation of the planned material scope will have an impact on the development of the entire area. The expansion and modernization of the infrastructure and cultural base will contribute to increasing the availability of public services (cultural and entertainment) throughout the MOFM, and thus improve the quality of life of residents. The possibility of communing with culture is conducive not only to shaping sensitivity and the value system and improving human well-being, but also to building and strengthening social bonds and expanding the possibilities of adaptation to changes taking place in the environment. The possibility of implementing this project, which indirectly also raises awareness of the constraints associated with this area of support and leads to the need to create cultural infrastructure that is fully accessible to NSAs. As a result of the project, the quality of life of the identified target groups of the project will be improved. The growing demand and capabilities of these groups, as well as the need to improve the technical condition of individual elements of the infrastructure covered by the project and problems with their availability, necessitate the implementation of investments in the indicated scope. An important assumption for the planned activities is to disperse the cultural offer by making it available in various buildings throughout the MOFM, thanks to which its availability will increase. Due to the increasing ageing of the population, more and more residents expect a wide offer close to their place of residence, which would enable them to fully participate in cultural life. Actions will contribute to equality, inclusion and non-discrimination. This will further enable the elimination of social and occupational exclusion in the longer term. Disruption of the stability of processes excluding these activities can lead to multifaceted negative effects on society. The end result of the project will be the sustainable preservation of the principles of social inclusion. The project submitted for funding is a means to solve the identified problems. The scope of the investment strictly responds to the existing problems in terms of access to cultural infrastructure for MOFM residents. The scope of the project fully corresponds to the objectives identified in the MOFM Strategy in the area of Strategic Objective ITI 1. Socio-economic development of the MOF area together with improvement of the quality of life of MOFM residents. The applicant and the Partner declare that they will carry out information and promotion activities in accordance with the FEP 2021-2027 Rules for Labelling and Promotion of Projects.
