The applicant is the Municipality of Ropczyce, ropczycko-sędziszowski district, Podkarpackie Province. The Municipality of Ropczyce operates on the basis of the Municipal Self-Government Act of 8 March 1990 and the Statute, has legal personality and is the basic unit of local self-government established to meet the collective needs of local communities. The main objective of the project is to increase access to pre-school education in the municipality of Ropczyce, Podkarpackie Province by: - creation of an additional 25 pre-school education places for children from 3 years of age as part of a 10 hour branch in the period from 01.09.2024 to 31.08.2025 in a newly built building on the Mehoffera housing estate in Ropczyce and co-financing of its current activity for a period of 12 months, - upgrading of qualifications by 2 pre-school education teachers. The project assumes the creation of an additional pre-school group of 25 Final Beneficiaries (BO). Preschool education for this group will be carried out in a newly built educational facility, which will be a branch of the Public Branch of Kindergarten No. 2 in Ropczyce. Classes will be held from Monday to Friday from 6.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., excluding school holidays and holiday breaks. Pre-primary education will include the implementation of program content in accordance with the curriculum of pre-primary education, conducted by 2 teachers, employed in the working time and the degree of professional promotion in accordance with the Teacher's Charter. The group will be serviced by a branch usher, employed full-time. Responsibilities: provision of meals, cleaning, ongoing help for children. In addition, a person will be employed to deliver meals prepared in the kitchen of the parent Kindergarten to the new branch - commission contract. A person will be appointed to the position of Director who currently serves as Public Director of Kindergarten No. 2 (as an extension of the scope of activities) - costs outside the project. In addition, the maintenance of the branch provides for incurring expenses for utilities, the purchase of office supplies, equipment and teaching aids, which will allow for effective implementation of pre-school education. The project will consist of the following tasks: 1) Costs of the current operation of the pre-school branch. 2) Purchase of equipment. 3) Construction of a playground. 4) Teacher qualification courses. 5) Indirect costs. The target group will be: pre-school children from the municipality of Ropczyce, parents and guardians of children, teachers and other staff employed in the newly established pre-school branch The main goal is possible thanks to the implementation of specific objectives: - increasing the number of places in the kindergarten, - enabling children with physical disabilities to use the kindergarten, - increasing employment through additional employment in the newly created branch - raising the education of the local community, The project is a response to the forecasted demand for pre-school infrastructure in the municipality of Ropczyce . The project is in line with the competition documentation. The achievement of the main objective of the project contributes to the achievement of the specific objective indicated in the FEP 2021-2027 programme by: creating an additional 25 places for the newly created pre-school group. Through the implementation of the project, the educational opportunities of children from the age of 3 living in the municipality of Ropczyce will increase, reducing inequalities in the degree of dissemination of pre-school education. Thanks to early education, children in the future will get to better schools and consequently improve their situation on the labour market. The possibility of providing pre-school education for children to parents will create an opportunity to return to work or start looking for a job and find it for non-working parents.
