The aim of the project is to improve the quality of general education in the Skołyszyn Commune by implementing comprehensive development programmes in all 8 primary schools aimed at supporting 410 pupils and 390 pupils and 160 parents, improving the professional competences of 83 teachers and 27 teachers, as well as retrofitting school laboratories in the period 01.06.2024-30.06.2026. The project includes support for students in acquiring and developing key competences as set out in the Council of the European Union Recommendation of 22 May 2018 on key competences for lifelong learning. The project is part of the ESF+.CP4.F specific objective - Promoting equal access to and completion of quality, inclusive education and training, in particular for disadvantaged groups, from early childhood education and care through general and vocational education and training, to tertiary education, as well as adult education and learning, including facilitating learning mobility for all and accessibility for persons with disabilities. The implementation of the project will contribute to improving the quality of education in the municipality by implementing actions in problem/deficit areas defined on the basis of needs diagnoses carried out on 09/10.2023 in all 8 SP operating in the municipality, i.e. Skołyszyn, Święcany, Kunowa, Jabłonica, Bączal Dolny, Przysieki, Lisów and Harklowa by: -to include support for pupils in acquiring and developing key and social competences as a result of programming/robotics classes, experimentation, compensatory workshops for pupils requiring additional support, thematic workshops in areas of contemporary problems of children and young people (cybersecurity and internet use, healthy eating habits and regular physical activity) -to improve the competences of pupils on issues necessary for everyday work with pupils, including those aimed at educating children with special educational needs; -arranging the space of technical studios enabling the implementation of innovative software and methodological solutions in the field of conducting classes in the field of science, including the method of pedagogical experiments; -involvement of parents in the life of children and school by enabling the use of thematic workshops addressed to all families on-site and online The project will have a positive impact on the principle of equal opportunities and non-discrimination, including accessibility for people with nps (details later in the proposal).
