The main objective of the project is to increase the effectiveness of didactic and educational activities at the SP in Sarzyna by the end of August 2026. The main objective of the project reinforces six specific objectives: 1. Raising the results of teaching mathematics to the secondary level in the eighth-grade exam; 2. Increase the effectiveness of teaching English by one stanin; 3. Acquisition of learning and memorizing skills by 40% of students in grades 4-8; 4. Raising the level of environmental awareness in 60% of school students; 5. Raise the sense of social inclusion of pupils with special educational needs to 80%; 6. Support and improvement of parental competence in 80% of parents. In the case of mathematics, it seems necessary to change the methods and forms of work. Mathematicians need methodological courses, individual support and mentoring that will allow them to break the routine and implement new solutions. We also want to introduce changes in teaching mathematics already in grades I-III, so that children develop mathematical thinking from an early age. This will be done through the introduction of coding classes, the use of Grabowski cards, mental arithmetic. The teaching method of Maria Montessori will be implemented in one of the classes. Such wide-ranging changes in the approach to teaching, combined with classes for students in the field of developing mathematical competences, will lead, on the one hand, to an increase in motivation to learn among students, and, on the other hand, will motivate teachers to seek new, effective methods and tools of impact. In the case of English, we want to include students in workshops with native speakers, which will force the need to use the language in everyday situations, which will improve their communication skills. Teachers of non-linguistic subjects want to cover English language learning at B1-B2 level so that they can integrate the teaching content of the subjects with simultaneous language learning. In this way, students' contact with English will be more intense, and this will translate into increasing their competences and ultimately into the results of external exams. For English teachers, we want to dedicate workshops on modern methods of teaching a foreign language. As regards the lack of learning skills, we intend to include children and young people in workshops on learning, memorising and quotation techniques. We also intend to train teachers so that they can pass on this knowledge to the next year's students. In the case of raising environmental awareness, we will carry out five educational projects, the main topics of which will be soil, air, water, garbage, rational management of resources. In order to be able to implement these projects using modern teaching tools, a fully equipped ecological laboratory will be created. A large part of the activities in the project will be devoted to inclusive education - we want to create a friendly school environment in which all students, including those with special educational needs, could fully develop their potential. This will be done through teacher support in improving qualifications to work with students from the SPE, specialist training for teachers, therapists, educators, psychologists and support teachers. Implementation of new therapies for school work, e.g. orthoptics, SPPS-S or Stimulation of Polymodal Sensory Perception using the Skarżyński method, covering students with manual therapy, hypotherapy, alpacotherapy and dogotherapy. Parents of students will also be supported, for whom training and workshops will be directed in the field of parental skills training, cybersociety, recognition of low mood and symptoms of depression. Support groups will be set up for parents of pupils from SPE. The project will also address issues related to cybersecurity, addressed to students, teachers and parents.
