Tarnobrzeg School of Exercise

The Tarnobrzeg School of Exercise project is a partnership project. The project leader is the City of Tarnobrzeg (MT), and the project is implemented in partnership with the Podkarpackie Team of Provincial Institutions in Rzeszów (PZPW).The project will take place in the period 01.07.2024-30.06.2026 in six primary schools (SP) in Tarnobrzeg . As a result of the analysis of general education in Tarnobrzeg in X 2023 with all 8 functioning primary schools in the city, the supervisory body decided on the need to improve general education in 6 SP, which most require comprehensive support. The analysis of the situation in schools was based on the needs diagnoses prepared by the schools . The assumption of the project is to create in Tarnobrzeg a model of general education based on the support of each area influencing the improvement of key, social and emotional-social competences of students (U), which will improve the quality of education in the Podkarpackie voivodship. The main goal (CG) of the project is to improve the quality of general education in 6 primary schools in Tarnobrzeg until 30.06.2026r, through comprehensive support of 149 teachers (N), students 533(U) and their parents (R) in the form of additional classes for U, the establishment of the School of Exercises, raising the competences of teachers and involving parents in the school's activities. These activities aim to improve U’s key competences, relevant attitudes and skills needed in the labour market, taking into account the needs of people with special needs, including disabilities. The CG of the project will contribute to the achievement of the specific objective FEP 2021-2027 (FEPK.07.12) because by increasing the competences of pedagogical staff, creating opportunities for U to participate in additional classes, U will acquire key, social and socio-emotional competences, and U support with special or individual needs will be provided, which will ensure equal access to high-quality general education. The target group (GD) are people learning or living in the Podkarpackie Province, who are associated with at least one of the six primary schools that take part in the project, including: 1,149 teachers, including 127 K/22 M employed 6 primary schools in Tarnobrzeg 2,533 pupils, including 261K/272M studying in 6 primary schools in Tarnobrzeg 3,212 pupils, including 103K/109M with special educational needs (SPE), 4.all parents whose children attend 6 primary schools in Tarnobrzeg 1. Retrofitting of school rooms 2. Improving Teacher Skills and Competences 3. Classes shaping students' key competences and parents' support 4. Classes with students with special educational needs Results: - improving the quality of general education in SP3, SP4, SP6,SP7,SP8,SP11 in Tarnobrzeg by 30.06.2026, through the implementation of additional remedial and developing didactic classes (supporting the formation of key and social, ecological competences) - increasing the competences of 149 teachers, in particular in the digital field, learning new teaching methods and working with U from SPE, which will improve the quality of their work and translate into the development of students - raising the interest of 533 students in science through education with innovative methods using equipped laboratories to 30.06.2026, - acquiring additional skills in creativity, innovation and teamwork as well as social, socio-emotional, initiative skills - supporting students in the identified special development and educational needs - supporting students in equalizing knowledge, developing interests until 30.06.2026 - enriching the program of classes with interesting lesson scenarios/methodology of conducting classes - equalizing educational disparities U o SPE 212U/ 103K to 30.06.2026 by supporting them according to individual needs - improving the quality of education and assessments U 80% U i.e. 426U
