The main objective of the project – to provide comprehensive support for the socio-economic integration of 2082 third-country nationals, migrants and refugees, in particular those leaving Ukraine due to the aggression of the Russian Federation, in the period 01.01.2024 – 31.12.2029 (hereinafter: OPT) living in the Podkarpackie Voivodship, as well as strengthening institutional capacity and establishing inter-institutional cooperation by supporting 120 employees of public/non-public institutions working with OPT employed in 40 public/non-public institutions with an organisational unit in the Podkarpackie Voivodship (e.g. ZUS, US, PUP, MOPR, PCPR, OPS, UM, PUW, NGOs), including 18 representatives of local authorities/organisations/PCIC II, as well as strengthening the employment potential of 60 employers of third-country nationals with an organisational unit in the Podkarpackie Province. The main objective of the project will be achieved by: • continuation, including ongoing financing of the functioning of the Podkarpackie Centre for the Integration of Foreigners (hereinafter: PCIC II), • institutional capacity building and strengthening inter-institutional cooperation for the integration of third-country nationals, through actions provided to third-country nationals; support human resources development, including training activities for people working with third-country nationals from public/non-public institutions; setting up a network of cooperation with local authorities and organisations to coordinate actions for third-country nationals; development of a local strategy for identifying the needs reported by employers, • professional activation of third-country nationals aimed at better use of the structures of public employment services and other institutions/organisations from the region and support related to active labour market instruments for foreigners, (support for the entry and presence on the labour market of third-country nationals (professional counselling, training in job search methods, vocational courses/training leading to the acquisition/acquisition of competences/qualification, translation of documents) training support for employers), • social integration of third-country nationals, by providing access to specialist knowledge and guidance on functioning in Poland and increasing the degree of integration of third-country nationals into the host community (psychological counselling, psychotherapeutic counselling, acculturation counselling, legal counselling, training/adaptation workshops and socio-cultural events), • educational integration of third-country nationals, including training aimed at the education of third-country nationals (Polish courses, nostration of diplomas). The project’s activities will complement and continue the support provided under the ‘Podkarpackie Centre for the Integration of Foreigners’ project, the implementation of which covers the period from 1 September 2022. – 31.12.2023. The project assumes the continuation and provision of support within the Podkarpackie Centre for the Integration of Foreigners (specific access criterion No 1). The main objective of the project will contribute to the implementation of the specific objective of Action FEPK.07.17 - Socio-economic integration of third-country nationals under the regional programme European Funds for Subcarpathia 2021-2027 in the field of socio-economic integration of third-country nationals covered by project support, including through the implementation of comprehensive and individualised services of a professional, social and educational nature. The socio-economic integration measures of third-country nationals financed by the ESF+ shall not be financed by other public funds, in particular the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (Access Specific Criterion 6). The project will be implemented in the period from 01.01.204 to 31.12.2029.
