Invest in Pomerania 2030

The subject of the Invest in Pomerania grant project is the development of a system for servicing new and existing investors in the region (including pre- and post-investment services), through the implementation of permanent tools to support investment projects. The project includes comprehensive activities in the field of creating services tailored to the needs of investors, obtaining investments, handling investor queries and investment projects in the sectors covered by the PSI, key industries for individual areas of the province, and in particular in priority sectors, building cooperation, organizing economic events in the region, coordinating visits with foreign partners interested in cooperation with partners from the region, promoting and inventorying investment areas, directly stimulating the stream of industrial investments in the SME sector, creating conditions for attracting, retaining and developing talent, in accordance with the changing needs of entrepreneurs, building and developing research and analytical facilities, in order to better adapt the services provided to the needs of investors, etc. The undertaken actions, due to the holistic and comprehensive nature, will be taken in cooperation with local governments and the IB (e.g. GARG, PSSE, SSE, Rumia Invest Park). Activities will be coordinated to ensure an optimal and efficient allocation of resources. The project envisages the following tasks: Task 1 Implementation of the strategy of obtaining investments, by: o handling inquiries and investment projects, o supporting the development of priority sectors for investors and initiating actions to increase investment attractiveness (including building partnerships, organizing economic events, coordinating visits with foreign partners interested in cooperation with partners from the region, promotion and inventory of investment areas, etc.), o running a regional geographical information system, o conducting economic analyses for investors, o conducting research on priority sectors for investors, development of analytical facilities, o developing the Investor Ombudsman service, supporting entrepreneurs in overcoming development barriers on administrative grounds, o animation of cooperation between entrepreneurs from priority sectors for investors, Task 2 Industrial transformation, including: for granting grants to entrepreneurs from the SME sector for the implementation of investments in production infrastructure (including the purchase of new production lines, technologies, certificates, etc.). Task 3 Talent Acquisition: for the services of connecting candidates with employers, for the support of enterprises in promoting products and services and their offer as an employer, for the continuation of the Live more campaign. Pomerania and attracting talent, in accordance with the reported demand of investors from priority sectors, for the preparation of staff to serve people who will move and take up work in priority sectors in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, taking into account intercultural differences, for the development of adaptation services on the labour market for people who will move to the Pomeranian Voivodeship, for initiatives for the development of a culture of integration and inclusion, the promotion of cultural and social diversity.
