Balans - adaptation to professional life

The aim of the project is to adapt the organization of work to the needs of 2 employers and their 8 employees (employed under an employment contract) and 1 co-owner (Rarytas) belonging to at least one of the following groups: women, people with disabilities, older people 50+, low-skilled, affected by difficulties in combining work and private life, until 2026-09-30. Employers have their headquarters in Malbork, in a building from 1910, owned by Rarytas. The building is used for purposes related to the implementation of projects, as well as for the statutory purposes of the foundation. 5 participants of the project live in Malbork, the others in the nearby towns/municipality of Malbork. The goal will be achieved through the implementation of remote working, flexible working time and adaptation of workplaces (organisation of space and purchase of equipment improving working conditions) to the needs of employees and employers. The scope of the project was developed on the basis of the diagnosis carried out, for both employers (approved on 31.05.2024) taking into account the current and forecast needs of Employers and their employees, including people with special needs and disabilities. Malbork is a city losing its socio-economic functions and a commune threatened with permanent marginalization. 194 people work in Malbork district per 1000 people, in Pomeranian district-249 (GUS, 31.XII.2021). In the above-mentioned district, there are more than 20 registered jobs per 1 declared place of work. There are practically no job offers for people with a disability certificate (2 offers,04.2024). A small number of large workplaces has a negative impact on employment opportunities (6 Malbork-GUS entities, 31.08.2023). Malbork county is the 4th county with the highest unemployment rate -9% (PORP.pl, 03.2024). The persons registered in the PLO are mainly: women (62%), low-skilled (43%), 50+ (25%), persons with disabilities (11.5%). The SWOT analysis included in the Malbork-Sztum 2030 MOF Strategy shows that there is a limited offer of new jobs in the MOW area, including for people with disabilities and functional limitations. The balance of the area indicates: outflow of residents from MOF areas, negative assessment by MOF residents of employment opportunities in MOF areas, low level of involvement of the population in broadly understood social activity. The results of an online survey entitled The Employers’ ‘Study on the Satisfaction and Opinion of Residents on Living Conditions in Malbork’ (04.12.2023-18.01.2024, 609 replies from residents of Malbork, over 16 years of age, 59.6%K, 40.4%M) showed that: 1) according to. 80.5% of respondents, the situation on the Malbork labour market (access to jobs) is very bad (55.7%) and bad (24.8%), 2) respondents indicated that there is a shortage of jobs in Malbork (75.5%). 71.3% of respondents believe that Malbork is not business-friendly. Employers, employ os. o: 1. low-skilled, 2. high-skilled people who have low chances in the local labour market due to: being a woman/mother of a child with a disability/mother of a young child or a person with a disability. Employers are institutions that significantly affect the support of people excluded / at risk of social exclusion, support entrepreneurs and local philanthropy. As a result of the project, the working environment will be adapted to the needs of 2 employers and to the needs of their 9 employees, i.e. women (8K), older people (1K, 1M), people with disabilities (3K,1M), low-skilled people (1K,1M), affecting the activation of the above-mentioned people, extending/maintaining their professional activity. The project will be implemented in accordance with the ‘do no significant harm’ principle. Respecting and respecting the environment, Employers will take care, among others, to save energy during the implementation of activities and reduce paper consumption to a minimum. The project takes into account current EU guidelines and legislation, including the programming documents relevant to this call.
