Integrated development of public vocational education in Wejherowo County as part of the strategic project "Shaping the network of vocational schools in Pomerania - stage II"

The aim of the project [PR] is to increase the employability of graduates of vocational education schools in Wejherowo Poviat [PW] by increasing the quality of vocational education.Strengthening the attractiveness of vocational education schools by adjusting the directions of education to the needs of the labour market taking into account key industries for the region's economy, adapting the competences of teachers to the dynamic requirements of the changing labour market; increasing and systematising cooperation between vocational schools, employers and universities. Due to the dynamic development of the Gdańsk Metropolis, the development of residential development, the location of many enterprises and industrial plants.and the improvement of communication(S6) PW records 18% dynamics of population changes, 6.3% natural growth and 7% growth of young people of school age.By 2050 forecasts.there is a 20% increase in the number of people., an increase from 219,457 inhabitants to 265.128 in 2050. 2022/23PW runs 23 vocational schools (7 teams of schools).These schools train in 91 professions. Vocational education is provided by 5 523 pupils, which represents 62.97% of all pupils educated by the EaP. In the year of school. 2021/22 out of 1154 absol.school enrolled in the exam 1024, which accounted for 89% of the absol. Exam, passed 816. Total employment of absol. totalled between 70.04% and 70.04% in 2021 (jobless 29.96%). According to GUS data for 2021, unemployment in PW-5.5% (voivodship 5.2%), while for young people up to 25 years of life 14.00% (voivodship 12.3%). The structure of unemployment in the EaP, i.e. the number of persons without vocational qualifications, without the number of unemployed persons in the total number of unemployed persons[OBR] is higher than in the EaP (another 36%,18% of unemployed persons with the EaP-data of the VI2023 RLO).The above indicates that the lack of QI and QI are barriers to finding a job. Activities include improving the skills and qualifications of pupils, teachers and instructors, launching additional classes, purchasing teaching aids and school equipment: Leading industries: 1.mechanical [MEC] in PZS No. 2 in Rumia and PZS No. 4 in Wejherowo; 2.forwarding and logistics[SPL] in PZS No 2 in Rumia and PZS in Reda; 3.electricity[ELE] in PZS No. 4 in W-wa and PZS No. 2 in W-wa; 4.teleinformatics[INF] in PZS No 2 in W-wa and PZS No 3 in W-wa; and complementary industries: 1.hotel-gastronomy-tourism[HGT] in PZS No. 2 in Rumia and PZS No. 3 in W-wa; 2. health care in PPZSP in W-wie. Support for education will also include: the use of modern simulators in practical apprenticeships and the promotion of vocational education by building a positive image of vocational schools, in particular among pupils in grades 7 and 8 of the SP, as well as their parents/legal guardians.All PR tasks are interrelated and will be carried out in cooperation with employers or their organisations. The FP is integrated and has an overarching character from the project implementation. under Measure 6.2 Inclusion and FEP infrastructure - both projects are coordinated and complementary, as well as result from the diagnosis of the needs of the EaP. PR was identified as part of the strategic project "Shaping the network of vocational schools in Pomerania - stage II" and approved by Resolution No 852/466/23 ZWP of 18 July 2023. As part of the first stage of the above-mentioned project, a network of professional counselling was organized, which permanently entered school practice and corresponds to the current and future needs of students. Currently, there is an effective advisory system based on the work of a network of school advisors and district coordinators, which will support project activities. The support implements the themes of actions of the Integrated Skills Strategy 2030 (detailed part) and uses the models developed under OP KED.
