The main objective is to support pupils in developing their talents, taking into account their needs and barriers, including those of a socio-economic and territorial nature. Specific objectives: 1. Increase the chances of students' success in further education and professional careers. 2. Increasing the attractiveness and quality of the educational offer of schools and educational institutions in terms of supporting pupils' talents. 3. Increasing awareness and interest of local government units, universities, employers, other entities and parents in supporting students' talents. Target groups: Students of grades VI-VIII of primary schools and students of secondary schools from the Wejherowo district together with parents/legal guardians. The scope of activities related to the development of pupils' talents includes the implementation of the following exemplary forms of support: - support by a professional counsellor and a psychologist together with the purchase of teaching aids - the form of support consists of diagnosis, career counselling, creativity-developing activities, workshops, among others, raising emotional and social competences and entrepreneurship, consultations according to needs, individual and group advisory sessions; implementation of the form of support requires the purchase of didactic aids (e.g. work cards, games aimed at integrating the group and developing creativity, social competences, logical thinking), materials necessary to conduct classes (consumables in the form of stationery and office supplies) and diagnostic tools (tests and tools for diagnosis in the field of professional counselling and in the psychological field); - educational tours and other complementary forms of support according to the interests and talents of students, including trips to museums, learning centres, thematic workshops in various fields carried out by experts; - going out to cultural events developing social competences and participation in culture, including film screenings, theatre performances, concerts; - study visits to local and regional companies and enterprises from key industries in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, in accordance with the profile of interests of students, which will allow them to familiarize themselves with the specifics of work in various areas; developing the results of the student's diagnosis and profile, taking into account cognitive, emotional and social functioning, areas of interest, strengths and areas requiring support; - support for parents or legal guardians of students participating in the project in the form of ongoing consultations and psycho-educational and thematic meetings concerning, among others, children's development (including the functioning of a capable child), current civilization problems, current recruitment to secondary schools and universities; - providing support to the student through the Talent Supervisor - the supervisor will ensure supervision over the adjustment of the support path in accordance with the forms of support implemented in the project and verify the compliance of the forms of support implemented. Creative teaching and career guidance centre: The Center offers students diagnosis and support in the field of career counseling, discovering talents and strengths, building a path of educational and professional development, supporting the development of students through the implementation of creative and other psychological activities supporting the harmonious development of the student. The seat of the center will be the Psychological and Pedagogical Clinic in Wejherowo. The tasks will be carried out by a Talent Supervisor, professional advisor, psychologist. The results that will be achieved through appropriate support: an effective system of effective diagnosis, reducing barriers to the development of skills of disadvantaged students, proper selection of forms of support for the development of students' skills, getting to know the labour market and their own predispositions, designing an educational and professional path in accordance with predispositions and opportunities.
