The implementation of P. is a response to the educational and social challenges faced by gifted students. Lack of adequate support in the consolidation of already acquired knowledge and orientation may contribute to the subsequent making of incorrect choices and planning of an inappropriate educational path for their needs. In addition, the diversity of skills and talents among talented learners makes it necessary to thoroughly verify them, and the learner himself/herself to show support tailored to the individual needs of each of them. This is often not possible in everyday school practice. Moreover, the inability to become acquainted with the academy in advance may, in the case of pupils with lower social skills, result in difficulties in entering the higher education stage. This problem is particularly acute in disciplines such as medical or pharmaceutical sciences. Conducted research, exercises, laboratory or seminar classes for medical students are unique, because schools are not able to offer similar things. These barriers are further exacerbated in students living in small towns, far from academic cities, and in students from low-income families. Based on the data available in the RAD-on-Gov.pl system, we know that students from cities are over 300,000 more than people who study and come from the countryside. The data come from 2022, when 40% of the Polish population lived in rural areas. In response to these needs, P. plans to implement three forms of support: academic meetings, mentoring and mobile research laboratories organized by leading Units from 4 oz. GUMed, i.e. Medical, Pharmaceutical, Health Sciences with the Institute of Maritime and Tropical Medicine and Intercollegiate Faculty of Medicine. Biotechnology. 1) Academic meetings - implemented by leading units of GUMed, which will include both lectures and workshops and laboratory classes. The topics of the meetings will include the latest scientific discoveries, diagnostic, therapeutic methods and technological innovations in medicine, pharmacy and health sciences. 2) Mentoring – the most talented students will be involved in individual cooperation with GUMed experts in the field of mentoring in the field of biology or chemistry. As part of mentoring, the student's development program will be planned based on his interests and state of knowledge and taking into account the specificity of didactic and scientific work carried out in individual units. Depending on the defined needs, it will take into account both the substantive preparation of the student for the planned tasks and the application of knowledge in laboratory practice. 3) Mobile Research Laboratories – Mobile Research Units are planned to create equal opportunities for students living in smaller cities or rural areas. During the whole P. it is planned to hold meetings in schools or educational centers located in areas where students may not have sufficient transport opportunities to reach academic meetings taking place in GUMed. As part of mobile research laboratories, workshop and laboratory classes will be carried out in the following four thematic groups: a) Molecular biology workshops – DNA and RNA isolation, b) Basics of drug chemistry and drug form technology, c) First aid and basics of human medicine, d) Environmental microbiology. Detailed descriptions of individual forms of support can be found in the "Tasks" tab. B. declares that support under P. implements the themes of activities defined in the Integrated Skills Strategy 2030 (particularly p. Support in the field of digitization, including the purchase of tools and programs necessary for the implementation of P.'s activities, is preceded by a self-assessment of resources and needs related to the implementation of P.
