Kościerzyna is a municipal municipality with an above-average level of social exclusion of residents (Annex 4 to the Regulations). The city has the largest number of unemployed people in the county and is quoted as saying. ‘working area’ (74% of people working in the district). [The District Programme for Combating Unemployment and Activating the Local Labour Market 2022-2026, pp.14, 21] The total number of unemployed in the city increased to 631 pers. (351K) in 2023. Of these, 484 are in a particular labour market situation (including 258 long-term unemployed, 63 OzN) [Source: MRIPS - 01 WORK MARKET REPORT 31.07.2023, PUP Kościerzyna]. [Source: data MOPS Kościerzyna] In response, the Centre for Social Integration in Kościerzyna (as PES) - hereinafter referred to as CIS - created an intersect. Partnership of institutions and organisations in the city working to reintegrate people affected/at risk of poverty and/or social exclusion into the labour market. For the diagnosis of key barriers and needs of the Project Participants, we organized a diagnostic workshop with the participation of Partners. Conclusions: - The target group requiring specific support are residents who are unemployed and affected/at risk of poverty and/or social exclusion. - The main problem (barrier) is the limited access of the unemployed and those affected/at risk of poverty and/or social exclusion to social and professional reintegration support offered by the CIS and the LOS Association, two active in the city of PES. The main objective of the project is to increase the chances of active social and professional functioning of 160 (130K and 30M) unemployed and affected/at risk of poverty and/or social exclusion residents of K-na (including 64 OzN), thanks to the implementation of a comprehensive social and professional reintegration programme "Step by step to work" by 30.09.2029. The project objective will be achieved by addressing the needs of the target group.
